Wishful thinking. We won't win another match with Noble's game plan. Hopefully after today he will be sack.I went back and had a look at where Brisbane were at the same stage of of Fagan’s second season. After 12 rounds Brisbane had one win and a % of nearly 80%; they didn’t score their second win until Round 14 and finished the season with 5 wins.
Forget the percentage for a minute, and if we contemplate that the Brisbane model is the one we’re following, I get a feeling the club is willing to ride Noble out for most of the season and will be hoping for a bounce after the bye (heck, maybe even today against the Giants).
His position, as much as it seems untenable for many of us now, feels like it will be more likely judged by where we are at by Round 20 rather than the outcome of today’s match.
