I believe Rochy is having a kick at Parky again, on his day can be unstopable

Heard lanky Michael Meyer is back playing this year for the vultures??
Why does he bother??? He should just stick to his 2nd job at safeway pushing the trolleys on the weekends

hey yippa
watched trainining on monday night and the youngest sullivan "shiny" seemed to be moving with quite a spring in his step. also darryl fraser looking in great shape.

Would be good to get Fraser back, any truth to the rumor that the Walsh boys might be coming back, that would be a big bonus if Parky can pull it off.

It is true, Shiney did return to the track a few kgs lighter after a week or so off, also Parky have added a number of BARFL Premiership players to their list in the off season. Not a bad standard of football over there for anyone that has seen it.

Last year Parkdale were coached by Dale Bower, who has now moved on to coaching the Box Hill reserves. He took over from Tony Mac.

This year, they're being led by Steve Kennedy who most recently coached the Sandringham Dragons in 2006/07.

Obviously you know mick pretty well. Glad to have him back to give big crilley a chop out. I'm sure most of the other c grade clubs wouldn't mind him rucking for them!

Shiny was loking quite nimble. Think he's dropped a couple over last few weeks and has been doing some solid work off the track as well. Unsure about big daryl fraser. Would be great to have him out there showing the kids how it's done but i hear work is the only stumbling block. He's also great on the turps and i don't think anyone will forget his karaoke duet with jason stern of "You've lost that loving feeling".

Can't be too bad, 6 promotions in 8 years and last year only missed out by less than a kick.:cool::cool: Start baking the humble pie I say...

Don't get carried away with LY. The only reason Rupo did well is that it was possibly the weakest C grade in 5-6 years. And this year is not looking much better with Oakleigh and Hampton Rovers being added to teams on the decline or rebuilding such as Parkdale, Monash, Whitefrairs, MHSOB. Both of the OC's will no doubt be back in C next year, unless they have recruited exceptionally well. Ajax will pants everyone this year and whoever they beat in the GF will be revisiting C grade in 2010.

It was interesting Ajax had numerous opportunity to avoid relegation but wilted on every possible scale, expect alot of pressure as i am tipping Ajax will be the side everyone loves to beat. Reading between the lines Parkdale have a new coach with high credentials, and many possible recruits, they are a side that have a never beaten culture and our games against them last year went to the wire. We have these sides Round 1 & 2 so we should have some indication of where we are at early in the season.
March is looking far better for Rupo, we will average 5kgs extra per player this year as we have dieted on KFC and Hungry Jacks. McDonalds have gone healthy. And of course Pure Blondes.

Bit harsh here brooksy especially if this is the bloke i'm thinking of who helped Parky embarrass ormond in the semi a couple of years ago. He dominated that game against old slow McConville

Well said Cscape ..you summed it up well..Ajax , Mazenod and Ormond are well above the rest of the field with Parkdale on the improve.
Has any one heard anything about MHSOB this year? I heard they were struggling for numbers!

Same guy pitcher. Was very good that day. As i stated, great to have him back with crill.

I know that MHSOB are really struggling for quality and just aren't getting enough to training even at this late in the pre-season...What about Rupo captain - I think Collins, from last year - got injured early...is he playing again?

hey yippa how are you travelling this year. ruours on the grapevine that the body not so good. will you be right for round one or will you have to come back through the twos?

a lot of people around the dragons are rapt that kennedy has gone, good luck vultures

Tough job being coach of the dragons under the ever whatchfull eye of ozzie. Kennedy will be good at c-grade level and from all reports is looking for a big year from his young group. Vultures to improve, but all this sh1t talk means nothing when Saturday April 12th come around.

Um, Just a quick one. Where did you get your mail on that one? Just not sure if it is correct...

To be honest all this talk about who and who wont be good is just wasting time i think. nobody knows until as far as half way through the season.is that a fair comment?

well to be honest it dosent matter how weak or stong last year c grade might have been, the point is you play in the comp as it is. you can only play the teams that you come up against

Word from down at Skye is that Shane Rowley is playing there this year. Anyone from Vultures able to confirm or deny the rumour. Saw him play last year and he was very impressive, if this is true it will be a big loss.

Can confirm that he is down at Skye as Ass Coach.
Apparently Parkdale have a lot of young blokes down there this year, hopefully one of them may be able to step up. If not they still have the ever reliable war horses in Macca & Mick Sullivan, will still take a very good player to man them.

Rupo, having been repeatedly bashed on forums in regard to there jumpers (very ugly) have moved quickly in light of this and will line up with a new look in 2008. Whilst remaining tight lipped over the change it has got out that the design will makes us look 10% bigger, 15% faster and 20% angrier in 2008. Whilst having a subtle link to the "Ashes" and a strong connection to the school much work and feedback has gone into this very important change. We will be going into 2008 with alot of changes so we will remain a mystery to most teams.
