Yeah cool story bro

I'm mates with Sheriff and he is no relation to Peace. He was joking but you didn't get the joke. Stop being so touchy
I know you are great mate of sheriff . Just stir you up. Can't you see that I am not serious and don't give a sh%t.

Pearce is a good player and doesn't deserve some of the wrath he gets on here but in the scheme of what is now a rebuild, he really doesn't offer us what we need, even as a depth player (and depth for two years, again what were they thinking?? Even S.Mitchell is on yearly contracts).
I reckon he does, as a depth player at the very least, but it'll depend on how we're travelling.
He'd be a very handy replacement for any potential causalities. I'd take him before a few others, at any rate, which is an argument some of the PearceD supporters here are making that I do agree with.
Depth is something we clearly lack now and have for a couple of years at least.

I agree about the two years though. One would have been enough.

I never said he wasn't but over time they will surpass him.

Blakeky for example has been miles in front of him the last two games and Weller not far behind.
The young guys you mentioned all got consistency issue, but is obvious when they reach 50 games afl experience , will surplus d.pearce. doig medal is based on how many game you plays.i never doubted the players you mention is better than d.pearce when he is young.

To drop d.pearce and spurr now is like saying the management make the wrong decision offering them 2 year contract.

You are taking my comments out of context

I thought Danyle was ok last night but the thing that annoys me about him is his lack of vision at times. Either that or he is just unwilling to back himself hitting a target by foot. Early in the first on the rebound he could have drilled a kick inside the corridor to a couple of players wide open outside the 50m arc but instead decided to run backwards then then laterally to switch play (which only put us under more pressure and shut down our forward movement). Although we eventually got out of it and eventually scored a goal I doubt we would have been so lucky against a better opposition. Crozier and Hughes would have both backed themselves, taken the risk, and kicked that precision ball. If we are serious about rebound football then we need players to be confident in their kicking. If Danyle starts making and nailing kicks like that it'll make a massive difference to both his value and our transition from d50 to i50 imo.
