Can North go all the way?

I don't think North can go all the way.
They are far too inconsistent and lack the defensive pressure to force mistakes from the good sides.
Finals football is a pressure cooker environment, and it is for this reason that I'd look for a side like Port Adelaide - as that side that could go all the way.
Well, out of the lower tier sides to make the finals anyway.
Port are the only threats to Hawthorn and Sydney IMO.

There's a few reasons why North could win tonight, but "they have beaten all the top 4 teams this year" is not one of them as it is factually incorrect.

They've beaten 4 of the top 5. North can definitely win tonight but winning a prelim would be a huge ask, let alone the Grand Final the week after.

Reckon this year has the greatest chance of a non top 4 team making a GF. Might see both port and north in prelims. Odds still against, but reckon it's closer this year than any other recently.

This would sum my thoughts up perfectly. They're a chance, it is a possible outcome, but let's just wait and see if they can beat Geelong before seeing if they can beat Sydney/Hawthorn.
