Not holding my breath, already watered down SOS genes just got further diluted.

Besides, by then, Carlton father sons will need to have played 400 games to qualify.

And again, she intimated that there may be changes to the points system in this year's draft - but will all become clearer over the next 2-3 months!!! The reaction from Edmund, Whately and Kingy was that they were all bewildered that the AFL were considering changes to this year's draft - even if the changes were small given the long term planning that clubs have made to this point. AND that the changes will potentially be brought in on the eve of trade period!!

The clubs most affected should band together and make a stand by sueing the AFL for a restraint of trade. Or something along those lines.

Idk about anyone else but I've always thought they should just put a cap on the NGA selections. Get to take 1 inside the first round per year or 5 over 5 years type thing and thats it. Nobody really cares if a club gets a 3rd round talent via the NGA, but when clubs like GCS have 3 top 10 talents in a year and have another half dozen coming over the next 2 it becomes a farce.

Just fix how clubs pay for picks, no limits on players, no caps, just a genuine method of pay.

I’m happy to hear the reaction from Kingy, Whately et al was less than complimentary and argued the correct reasons why it’s stupid this year…AFL peanuts would take note of that

Don't understand these expansion whinging clubs with F&S. You want to enter the comp you have to accept the fact it'll take 30 years till your first lot of F&S's may be available. Considering they get so many concessions to kick off their franchises, academies etc it all balances out.

We traded for future picks last year to allow us to build enough points for this year's father sun's. Absolute joke if they make any changes. Campo twins should flat out refuse to interview with any other clubs in protest.

The thing that really bugs me about this sort of behaviour is that you’d never get away with it in the real world. The AFL is a tiny pond that happens to be high profile. And it attracts executives whose talents are commensurate to the sandbox they play in.
