Carlton causing finals damage (again)

Are you talking about your Grand Final where you fell over the line by 10 points after playing your best game for the year, throwing everything at a side that stopped playing after the first quarter? A side currently 2 weeks into a heavy training load as our finals spot is guaranteed? A side that, when breaking out of a jog, showed Carlton as the battlers they are?

If that's the game you're talking about then yes I agree, many lulz were had after seeing how much that win meant to your fans who have still failed to realise those 4 points won't save your failure of a season.

Thanks for playing.

Yep, top 4 spot on the line and you decide it's not important and rather implement a late 'heavy training load'. That is by far one of the funniest things I have read on this site. That whole post.

I just finished watching the new ep of Breaking Bad and reading that post after finishing the show was by far the best part of the last hour. Congratulations, you are more entertaining than Walter White himself.

If Carlton make it, which is a 50/50 IMO (40% chance of beating Ess and Port, 10% chance of us finally negotiating with AFL to make sure we are whacked this year and not next and the one after) they will probably come up against their Bitchmond in Richmond. Can't see Tiggers troubling and even stronger blues in finals. They play with a real inferiority complex when they play Carlton.

Oh so you're at peace with failure?

You cant say freo fans are band wagoners considering we haven't wont a flag yet.

Still there is a reason my team is in the top 4 and your team isnt. Acutally I hoped you watched the match a few weeks back between freo and Carlton at Ethiad.

reminds me of last year when an idiot from st.kilda, the blonde headed bloke with the crappy tatts who got sacked. (cant even remember his name) said they can cause a stir in September. trouble was they didn't make the finals and never looked like making the finals.

What kind of damage are you going to inflict? Roll over someone like Richmond before getting taken out in a semi? Is that the definition of doing damage?

Uh.. I think knocking Richmond out of the finals kind of is doing damage. Considering they (Tiges) have beaten Hawks not too long ago. Derailing a potential sleeper in the finals is doing damage no matter how you spin it.

I thought Bigfooty hated the fact that most players are media-robots and are sick of the "yeah nah look we'll focus on this week".

As soon as someone doesn't act like a media-robot and is honest they get whacked for that too

Telling the media that Carlton are going to cause damage if they make the finals is not being honest

It's honestly what he thinks though?

Would you prefer a:

"YEAHNAHLOOK one week at a time is the process and we don't even look at finals nor the ladder we're just focussing on Essendon, and if we do make finals yeah nah we won't go very well because yah know, we've had an average season and we're a mediocre side and yeah nah thanks guys".

Who honestly gives a shit he answered a question, unless it was a typical footy answer he was always going to get a hard time for it.

Telling the media that Carlton are going to cause damage if they make the finals is not being honest

but a player believing they can do some damage "if" they make finals is being completely honest

Not sure why you're quoting it incorrectly? Guess you dont want the truth to get in the way of a thread about Carlton

Jameson clearly pointed out the reality of the situation, that is we need to rely on other teams to lose and for us to win and we are certainly not 'in' the finals as it currently stands

But you all will take any opportunity to gossip and bitch

OK lets look at the damage 9th placed Carlton is causing to finalists. So far they have beaten a lazy Richmond by 10 points. The damage to the Tigers? Well they moved up the ladder.

Carlton have to win both remaining games and would start under dogs in both.

The only damage Carlton are doing is to their supporters heads, giving them hope when in reality, all hope was lost weeks ago.

Do CFC have anyone handling PR, or does everyone just say what the think at the time, with mixed messages coming from the executive, coach, former-captain and other players....and Brick?
I'm staggered to be sitting here typing this ...but the club has been so vary brave so far ...lets hope they can keep it up and be proven right in the long run .
