I think one kid SOS will monitor pretty closely during the year will be Bailey Williams. Was really impressed with what I saw of him in last years U18 Nationals. There aren't many ruck prospects I'd part with a 1st Rounder for, but this kid I would. He's a unique talent in this years draft I'd expect him to go easily inside the Top 10.

Maybe not purely about money, but you do you think his decision won't be swayed by the dollars in the end? He could have 4 or 5 clubs seriously going after him so he won't go cheap.

Even if Lynch plays at 2016 form and kicks 66 that's still about $23k a goal... double our current Casboult 'value'. I know you can't money ball everything but the laws of diminishing returns definitely come into play with these marquee/messiah 'super contracts'.

I don't want us to throw $1.5M at a single player, I'd rather get two $750k players for that. What's better value for (the same) money, 3 goals a game from a key forward or 50-60 quality disposals from two top end midfielders?

He can run all day, he's a very strong mark and a good kick (the highlights above show good use of the ball and very impressive kicking to advantage).

Agree and to that scope I'd consider next year's 1st rounder too. The 2018draft is a strong draft the top 10 are special and the next 10 are not shoddy. So two top ten would set with some great young talent.

I'm an unabashed Rankine fan. He's something special that kid with skills that I can't remember seeing from many other players. The only questions I have are on his ability to consistently accumulate the ball, and his strength inside the contest. If he prove himself in those areas I just can't look past him as a prospect. The kids potentially the greatest player to ever play the game.

Lukosius is outrageously gifted but so is Rankine, an absolute jet - Judd with exceptional skill

Free agent acquisition decides favourite for us, get Lynch take Rankine....get a Gaff type and wink/nod from Shiel then take Lukosius.

They both really are generational types in respective positions.

Plays similar to N Riewoldt, but with elite kicking.
