I read off one of our other posters yesterday a Callum Ward comparison or maybe he styles his game on him ...Fairly confident our man Sam Philp was compared to Rory Sloane

Either way Sloane or Ward both amazing players to compare or model your game on...Fairly confident our man Sam Philp was compared to Rory Sloane
anyone know when they start?
taThink it starts at 7pm
In the clearing stands a boxer and a fighter by his trade. And he carries the reminders. Of every glove that laid him down or cut him til he cried out “I am leaving I am leaving”Just wanted to say, Loved how you went about it last night, SoS came to play.
Would be happy if our 2020 2nd rounder netted something (Rivers) we need on top of drafting a Cahill type at #44ish.I still prefer us to keep next years picks, and just take the best small fwd at #44
We need magic. Trade up or down to get it. Then you are still best avail at the right price. Why would we target a small forward if Papley or any other small forward is still a trade target next year?
Still best available for me
Yes.....everyone who doesn’t follow Carlton!Does anyone still think Carlton “lost” the trade period?????
what do you think it could be
Moreover clubs will probably start to assess which players they want and then get the picks they need, rather than seeing which players they can get with the picks they have.We need magic. Trade up or down to get it. Then you are still best avail at the right price.
You don’t have to sit there and wait. You can think “if I had 25 I would think ‘x’ is best available at that point. I’m happy to move picks around to pay the right price for that.”
SOS is teaching everyone this “best available Vs needs” debate is archaic.
Move picks around to nail BOTH needs and best available at the same time.
You don’t know if it was incorrect, but I agree that pick has extra value. Was already proven last year.We really should have kept that start of the second round pick for leverage. Tigers taking philp that early is also incorrect.
Only most, not everyone - some opposition get SOS' trading magicYes.....everyone who doesn’t follow Carlton!
Of course, last year there were more live trading after the first roundIs there still live trading of picks tonight?
Taking 2 first rounder helps with other AFL rules, so whilst we might have lost the ability to get a future 2nd, we've now got the ability to trade out first rounders for the next few yearsYou don’t know if it was incorrect, but I agree that pick has extra value. Was already proven last year.
Yep, but from memory less time on the clock in the second round onwards...so need to make sure you have your ducks in a rowIs there still live trading of picks tonight?
Why dislike this? Two players don't make a trade period, just gently stating a fact. I'm not hinging it on the acquisition of Martin, it wasn't a reference to that.We could still lose it, more to go yet.
