At this stage it's the only explanation that doesn't have massive holes. I think it also explains why there's silence from him/club. Sayers unlikely to throw her under the bus if he's trying to salvage the situation etc. More likely he throws himself on his sword.

I rarely read or agree with the Herald Sun, but I caught the article today arguing that the silence around this exposes the AFL's double standards. Nailed it. It's bizarre, frankly.

Media seem to be losing patience at least...

Hadn't considered this as an option .. and goes to a whole other level of effort.
I mean who has the ability to be across Twitter, FB, Instagram, Reddit, TikTok, YouTube, Snapchat, OnlyFans, MySpace, Truth Social, Whatsapp and Tinder, let alone operating multiple anonymous accounts on each of them?

I don't want to alarm you, but some people will send some very ordinary pictures of themselves.

Not only is it not implausible, it’s by far the most likely hypothesis.

Sayers has had a few drinks, only uses twitter to communicate with the woman he is having an affair with, as it is not something his wife is likely to see

He clicks post instead of DM (the buttons really aren’t that far from each other) So instead of sending her a picture, he has posted it to the universe and tagged her in it.

Clearly been instructed by "his people" to lie low for a few days to allow time to contact the people that count and formulate a response. It's pretty obvious what's gone down, well at least it's one of only a couple of scenarios (a hack by one of Vlads boys not being one of them). He would have been better off just deleting the post and saying nothing until he got some advice.
