At least Brandon is alive. Sadly, that puts him above others in the 90210 cast. The 90210 guy??
I’ll see myself out.

Too much energy and posts wasted on Chris Judd as a possibility for the Carlton presidency. The odds of him even being in the thoughts of the decision makers as a candidate would be 0.
The very skillset that got us into shitsville and kept us there. Egos, shortcuts and short term thinking and decision making. Sayers was there for a lot of it. The only credit he and the board gets from me is the appointment of Cook to short circuit that merry go round. They knew it wasn't working but needed experienced counsel on how to fix it, issue by issue.
Wright had a lot to rectify at Collingwood, so I expect he'll be prepared for the hard work of running the footy club. I still can't believe I'm supporting a Collingwood dude as CEO. It went so well last time.
Didn't do much wrong, just didn't do much. For whatever reason he did not take the opportunity to step up and make a big positive impact. Board spots are no less valuable than list spots. From memory even his attendance record was ordinary. Happy to stand corrected on that point if I am mistaken.I'm not advocating for Judd. It's just these blanket statements with zero detail that have me thirsting for information.
Are these whispers?
I know the media served it up to him over his 'training wheels' comment, but I can't help but feel he was thrown under the bus on that one.

Juddy seemed pretty happy to pocket the cheques.
Didn’t think he was fully invested once he finished playing.
It's a non-paid position isn't it?
He was part-time too.
And Melbourne never tanked, but everybody got sanctioned.by the same mob who found Essendon not guilty of drug cheating and that port never broke concussion rules
Thoughts on Priestly...They all lie, cheat, steal and do even worse to their own people. They are all the same. PWC got 'caught' and outted probably because someone in there offended someone somewher or didnt slip them an appropriate thank you.
PS I am not defending or condoning just commenting - base don my own experience(s).
He has already spent an elongated period in the board, and did little. Its simply a No, unless we are focused on Juddchella and JuddvestmentsJudd would be a great choice.
Very very smart man. Football acumen impeccable.
We could do a lot worse.
Sayers, has been on the Carlton board for many years. Since 2012, and overseen, voted on Ratten sacking, Malthouse, Bolton, Teague and now Voss.I think this ignores just how bad we were as a club, and the monumental amount of work that has gone into turning us around over the last decade. It hasn't all been smooth sailing, but we've been headed in the right direction. 2015 was when we started to change course. 10 years ago!
LoGiudice's board (of which Sayers was a part) did a massive amount of work stabilising the club, but made big mistakes with the Liddle and Teague appointments. When Sayers took over he righted those two mistakes.
Not giving much away it’s pretty transparent.I don’t want a president on training wheelsCan't really give too much away...would get me into trouble with someone. Let's just say...he's much better at giving the appearance he's a very, very smart guy than actually being so. Not saying he's incompetent or would be a disaster...but sometimes things aren't always as they seem.
Sorry to be so vague.
Apologies...didn't realise he had. Cheers.

Another tied to financial scandal

JPMorgan is reported to have received immunity in exchange for turning on ANZ. That's worth some examination.www.crikey.com.au

Malthouse was appointed over a month before Sayers joined the board, so no he didn’t vote on the Rattan sacking.Sayers, has been on the Carlton board for many years. Since 2012, and overseen, voted on Ratten sacking, Malthouse, Bolton, Teague and now Voss.
Also adding CEO changes Swann, Trigg, Liddle and now Cook.
Cook by far, his best appointment. The only achievement worth crowing about

So much this.I’m not generally a fan of affirmative action for its own sake. Much happier to see merit based appointments. In this case I’d be thrilled if the best person for the job turned out to be a woman. Feels like something we need.
Kinnersly played for Victoria - had a fantastic career at the top level.Any chance of getting a footy person in as president rather than these corporate bigwigs or is that delusional?
He had that already. He got ground floor entry into Corporate & he’s traded off it into fund managing since.
He’s no dill.
IIRC, at the time when Juddy was not he board as Football Director, younger players on the list commented that they had never met him and he didn't make an efffort to meet the newbies. General consensus was that he was largely unsighted at a football level.I'm not advocating for Judd. It's just these blanket statements with zero detail that have me thirsting for information.

He sure does. I remember watching the warm up at an open training session last year, and Diesel was there shooting out his bullet like handballs to the players.IIRC, at the time when Juddy was not he board as Football Director, younger players on the list commented that they had never met him and he didn't make an efffort to meet the newbies. Diesel on the other had got down and dirty when he started. Got right amongst it with the players at training. Still does I believe.
