The way they’ve named the team, it seems like Paul - despite the amazing goal - has some things to work on if he wants to be a fixture in the team. Having said that, it’s hard to see what more Will could have done last week.

The sub is counted as an out if he goes out, even if unused. And if they stay in and are named in the 22, then they just leave the name in (counts as staying in seem a sub is playing).

Zurhaar for Drury
Trying to decide between Hall and Corr

I can’t see Ratten leaving out Curtis, Ford, Spicer or Phillips

Writing Lazaro off too early deserves another crack.

I'd rather Howe ahead of Corr or Hall, especially if they're playing on a McReary or Johnson as Howe actually defends at least.
But we probably need the run of Hall.
Drury back to the VFL, good exposure, go back and develop at VFL level.
Hope Ford and Phillips stay in, thought they showed a fair bit.
Might as well give Lazzaro a run after a good performance at VFL level, more likely to be confident and hopefully bring that to AFL level.
It's possible we're writing off him, Ford, Perez and Spicer too early when they probably haven't had the best development put into them with all the coaching changes. Also it took LDU 5 years to start playing good AFL footy but next year might be crucial years for them.
Be interested to see if he attends any centre bounces, maybe he's a better at clearances.

Yes. It's wrong on every level, for two reasons:
1. We aren't winning many games this year
2. The belief and joy that winning provides is about the most valuable possible asset that there is for a rebuilding team

Corr simply can't play in our back 6 with McKay and Logue in the team. Makes our defense too lumbering and slow. Unfornetetely I can't see McKay staying on beyond this season, so Corr will get his chance to cement his place, but for now no.

Actually really tough to decide who stays and who goes, based on the game last week I’d be giving as many of the lads as possible from last week a chance to get it done this week so Howe for Shiel (concussion) and Zurhahaha for Drury (rest) and Jy remains captain
