I like it. Powell's injured, but was so s**t that we list him as dropped anyway.

Powell has been woeful since round 3 and he had a stinker of a night that should have rightfully seen him dropped before he fukced his ankle.

Clarko has now used two pressers to condition us to the fact we’re going to play the kids. Tonight has probably meant we have to rip the band aid off a little quicker than planned, but certainly over the next few weeks I’d expect Phillips, Wardlaw, Bergman, Goater (when fit), Drury, Archer, Laz, Mahoney and even Spicer & Edwards to come under consideration at selection.

Next week we’ll have to get inventive, so I’m thinking:

Surely Greenwood is a better option for us, he plays tall, tackles like a beast and can run both ways thanks to his fitness base. It’s a staggering call to leave him out considering some of our vanilla selections.

Like others, in Clarko we trust, but the one genuine puzzle I have about selection is Greenwood (yeah, yeah, I know about Turner, but it's only in the last 2 weeks that Drury has presented as a viable option). Back on topic, you might not want Greenwood and Cunners at the same CBA, but it doesn't mean they can't be rotating, esp. with LDU out. I don't get it

The three forced chances mean that we won't see the axe swung too hard, if at all.

The structural impact of losing CCJ and Comben is too confusing anyway to speculate on what will happen. Hamish Free debut? Greenwood to second ruck? Logue up forward made the structure look better, so maybe we'll give that a few more weeks?

Hopefully, LDU's heel is feeling better and I wouldn't mind Drury and Bergman either.

A couple of things that have hurt as well this yr Tarryn going awol, and possibly not coming back. Losing JHF and being replaced by Sheezel , a positive but already probably taking more on than he should. Then Wardlaw who hasn’t played yet so we are starting from scratch with a new player again . Losing Xerri ,who was going to replace Goldstein ,too another negative. This is all combining and delaying our , yet again new start .
