I view this week’s game as the “proper” start of the Clarkson era. The first seven rounds was just Essential “housekeeping”. From here on in, I fully expect all our 2+ year young players to be given an opportunity to show whether they can make the cut. The older guys will be used only to cover injuries (apart from Jack, Cunners and Goldie).

I don’t know if that is the case, I don’t think we should render the work up to now ineffective.

I always thought by round 10 the team would be largely made of the emerging players.

I think the experienced guys starting the season was correct and just worked to ease the youngsters in gradually.

We have just fast tracked it.

mate, take the protective corners off of your print and let it hang in all it's intended glory!
No I like them like that have tonnes of them doesn’t damage the walls. However aesthetically I agree not the best looking

Get some sticky felt from bunnings and stick it on the back side of the corner. Then you wont damage the wall and it'll look a whole lot better. Someone lovingly framed the picture and it should be shown as intended. Life is too short. Enjoy things how they are meant to be enjoyed.

Not sure I get the Log forward move. He was recruited as a backman, and he's been going alright down there, don't know why we would want to flirt with that.
If anything, we should send McKay forward, given he was recruited as a forward and has been stinking it up in defense this year.

Agree. The work up to now has not been “ineffective”. However, I view it as “preparing the way”.

Well my son is playing the new AFL game a few glitches in it. He is playing as North goals to Mahoney, Free and here’s Kayne lining up for his fifth lolView attachment 1678219
That’s one massive glitch if turners touching the ball 5 times - let alone kicking 5 goals.

Mckay can’t kick goals and won’t move or run into space.

Watch McKay dominate in the backline now Logue pushes forward

our defense has been abysmal in recent weeks, worse than our forward line. So I'd prefer to keep Log down there (with Corr) as they were great in the early rounds before McKay came in, and send McKay forward as another tall option, as he at least has experience playing in the forward line.

Log left Freo because they forced him to play forward when he wanted to settle in defense where he is a natural. Let's not piss him off and waste his strengths only 8 rounds in with us
