I think you misunderstand. It is 'why now'?

If Cloke was playing I don't think many would have an issue. But leaving Moore and the Ruckman as sole KPF options has significant risk.

no didn't miss understand most of the board for the last2-4 weeks wanted him gone no matter what. now faced with it
they having a2 bob each way.
personally I wont him in the team with a may be witts out

Fixed.....my apologies it wasn't intentional.

All good. It's tough to have a vigorous discussion on a blog when you're not 100% focused on it and I certainly don't take peoples criticism personally, I mean I've been slapped down by many on here, and I hope others don't. We're all passionate Pies supporters irrespective of how irrational the views of some are.

Just need to spot up targets.

Swan is good one out.
Elliott can take a great grab.
Fasolo has shown that he can take a mark.
Moore is a tall.
Pendles is good one out.

I think it would be a good thing as it will force our on ballers to lower their eyes more and look for a pass.

Too often in the past we are guilty of just bombing it long.

Agree with the bombing it long part, unless you have Cloke one out in the square im not a massive fan.

Even have Elliott and Pendlebury out of the square. Something different and unpredictable.

What I think is that frost will go to hogan and brown will go to Dawes.

I think McDonald will go forward so either Goldsack or Langdon get forced onto this matchup.

That leaves Howe. Toovey probably gets that matchup, although I think Buckley would prefer to play him on Garlett.

So that means Williams goes onto Garlett which I'm a little worried about.

Otherwise Maynard can play tall on McDonald which leaves Goldsack on Howe and Toovey on Garlett. Then Langdon can play the loose floater.

It's just why I would've played marsh or scharenberg as they can play a more KPP role whilst also offering run.

Up the other end, I just thought this was the perfect game to throw Reid in, drop witts and go with Reid, white and Moore, with white backup ruck.

I still think we win comfortably, just not my desired structure.

In general I like who we brought in and dropped. I got 3 of my 5 desired changes.

McDonald going Forward would really help our Forward Line as they then would only have Dunn as a Mature Backman, Could kick a Bag on them Then.

Bucks thinks we don’t need any more KPD then

Well until your next post when you won't be sure... and you were advocating surpassed, that fallen by the way now?

And yes it is moot. If the fact Moore has been named this week ahead of White is the basis for your argument then you've clearly not thought this through.

So our Selection Committee have No Idea what they are Doing? and You Do?

Underrated?

Your kidding right? He is up there with the biggest whipping boy on our board.

Fair enough looking for more pressure up forward but if that is what they are looking for I can guarantee that White will chase better than someone like Witts in the forward line.

Some Whip Him but others Stand Up for him saying he is not as bad as some people say

Moore is a much more natural footballer than White, marks the ball at it's highest point, runs to good spots, has football smarts. And his scope for improvement is only going up.

and White at 27 has next to NO upside left

I keep coming back to composure.

Maynard a good example. He's a very good kick of the footy yet a few of his kicks have been intercepted. Generally because he's kicking to where he sees the player there and then rather than having the composure and confidence to evaluate the situation and to put the ball where the intended recipient needs to be to evade the intercept.

General kicking into the F50 similarly affected. Players need to have sufficient composure to realise that just because Trav is calling for it, he may in fact not be the best option. Have the composure to take an extra second or 2 and evaluate all the options and choose the best 1. So many <50 gamers we need to expect these types of errors and hopefully they decline over time as we add the better ball users we've recruited to the team.

At least Maynard is a Good Kick while I have doubts on Others in the Back Line. Looking Straight at Nathan Brown

and Cloke missed some Goals he should be Kicking

Point me at a player who doesn't.

Build a bridge Dave or find us a forward who converts at 100%.

Sounds like Rhino is a 1000 times better than toovey already then after reading that ;)

Hoping for a late change - Marsh for Witts. Still not ideal as then we're totally dependent on Grundy getting through unscathed.

As you'd expect, don't recruit too many gun KPFs for 3rd round picks. Add the fact White is a Queenslander v Moore who's grown up living and breathing AFL footy.

100 points for persistence popin.

You are like a dog with a bone except the bone is Tooooveyyyy

Yep, thank God he's been there every week holding our inexperienced defence together.

It is funny that people think White is not a natural foot baller. He did this pass on the weekend only 30/40 metres (guessing) and he was running tight against the boundary so he did a dinky what looked like a bannana kick to Swan ( I think was the player). It was brilliant. I did that a few times during my footy days and I know it is not easy. unfortunately some people on BF are so negative that they can't see how good a passage of play that was.
