We didn't give you Dunn, we delisted him.
But yes, don't want any other Collingwood duds any time soon.

Can Langdon play the tall defensive stopper as well as Schade though? He probably can't which leaves Dunn as our only recognised tall stopper, who are Melbournes tall forwards without Hogan? I suspect Spencer to come back in and Pederson will be one that goes forward. If true, not surprised to hear Langdon get the nod ahead of Schade. The club loves him and he hit the ground running in the VFL . The forgotten man.
Except they did get something.Thats the ultimate in giving. You didnt get anything back. The fact you didnt at the time know who you were giving him to is irrelevant.
Assuming Spencer plays and Hogan misses we'd be looking at Pederson and Watts as the key forwards. Can Langdon play the tall defensive stopper as well as Schade though? He probably can't which leaves Dunn as our only recognised tall stopper, who are Melbournes tall forwards without Hogan? I suspect Spencer to come back in and Pederson will be one that goes forward.
At the moment a goal post could play the defensive key role as well as Schade. (bit harsh I know). Can Langdon play the tall defensive stopper as well as Schade though? He probably can't which leaves Dunn as our only recognised tall stopper, who are Melbournes tall forwards without Hogan? I suspect Spencer to come back in and Pederson will be one that goes forward.
I stand corrected. Thanks.Except they did get something.
Dunn was under contract and traded for a late pick, not delisted.
Langdon can play almost as tall as Goldsack, so really we arent losing much when comparing the backline that ran out against Freo to the probably defense against the Dees. All we are really losing is Goldsack in maybe career best form, but matchup wise it's not that different.
I'm a Schade fan long term, but at the moment he neither deserves, or should get a senior game.
Nah mate welfare is welfare. You might as well give us the game next year as OUR Home game then?
Against Freo, he didn't look physically up to it yet. He looked to be too slow for the open field and lacking the strength for contests.
Elliott's 1st 11 games in 2012 - 129 disposal, 6 goals 8 behinds; Crocker's 11 games to date - 100 disposals, 11 goals 7 behinds
just saying.
We didn't give you Dunn, we delisted him.

Billy was sub in quite a few of those games in 2012.

Thanks, Sandra.Actually you traded player 14 (I know it gets confusing for you using names) and pick 51 (used for Kayle Kirby or player 27 in your lingo) for pick 47 (used for Mitch Hannan, player 19) so essentially you did give him away for the paltry cost of 4 places in the draft order.
Good question
Given he's replacing Goldsack and our tendency this year to play undersized and more mobile Kpps , who knows which way they will go.
Perhaps hogan out swings the club more towards Langdon rather than Schade.
Either way it's great to see Langdon on the radar after a year and a bit in the wilderness
So we got Dunn & Kirby for a downgrade of 4 spots?Actually you traded player 14 (I know it gets confusing for you using names) and pick 51 (used for Kayle Kirby or player 27 in your lingo) for pick 47 (used for Mitch Hannan, player 19) so essentially you did give him away for the paltry cost of 4 places in the draft order.
This is actually one of the first weeks where I'm totally stumped with selection. There's multiple alternatives for each player.
For Elliott, you would think a direct swap for Fasolo. If Fasolo isn't declared available, then we may see Mayne come in, or they could go really young with Brown or Kirby.
For Goldsack, you would think either Langdon or Schade. Considering Goldsack has been playing as a full back, you would think Schade is a real chance. But Melbourne will be without Hogan, so it's left to Watts really, along with maybe Weiderman and Pederson. So we could look at going smaller. Even McLarty could be an outside chance. Even Keeffe has to be a sneaky chance to play either forward or back.
For Wells, Callum Brown may get his chance, or they could bring in Aish, or even someone like Josh Thomas who has been performing ok at VFL level.
Then Ramsay really didn't perform last week so Aish or Langdon could come in there.
My best guess would be:
In: Schade, Fasolo, Brown, Aish
Out: Goldsack, Elliott, Wells, Ramsay
But there's so many different variations we could work with there. Obviously Greenwood will be touch and go as well...in which case I'd advocate for Josh Thomas to be promoted.
Thanks, Sandra.
Aish's form doesn't demand he is an automatic selection..
