Based on what? I'd say he would be 30/70 to play, 2 head knocks in consecutive weeks is worrying and they are pretty cautious with concussion these days.
Based on two things:

- Selwood is as hard as nails and won't give anyone an opportunity to take his spot in the team.

- I have seen no evidence to suggest the Eagles are conservative when it comes to concussion.

Oh, I thought you were talking bout Schulz. Apoligies

There should be down the ground footage that will show the Kerr one though

The game footage looked like Kerr's hit was very compact, but think the down the ground may show a short jab. Would be gutted if we lost him.

+ nice avatar. First time I've seen his haircut. It's nuts. He's had the 2005 haircut since 2005, you'd think he would have transferred to the side-part/slick-back...

Wish one of the journos would get some balls up and ask Woosha bout Stevens/Dick/Strijk/Stevenson. Even if we do get the Standard Reply.

I think Kennedy will definitely come in, even though his return was only modest in a dominant side.

One thing that seems to have been forgotten around here is that early in the season we played Cox and NN on-ball at the same time, with NN often acting as third man up at stoppages and being the break-away player. We tried it a couple of weeks ago, but it robs us of a forward option.

With Kennedy back, it gives us more options to use our best assets with more flexibility. Cox or NN can become the 4th tall forward to stretch any defence. Cox can get behind the ball more. NN can play on the ball with Cox rucking. Both can spend more time on the interchange and be fresher in the above scenarios. I'd also expect the defensive pressure inside 50 to improve, as Kennedy is a great tackler, and Darling will also be fresher to provide more.

I can't see anything in the Kerr incident. It just looks like he bumped him. There is no obvious arm or hand movement to indicate anything else.

Knowing our luck though the MRP will find something based on the 'independent' doctors report and he will cop a week or two.

Just watched the highlights of the Eagles Collingwood game at the G earlier in the year. Man we were robbed in that one. Darling was smashed in the head and had his arms chopped 10m out in the last 90 seconds. Then Shuey was tackled high.

Bring on the biased umpiring towards us and the booooing and the worst crowd and the ducking and throwing and everything else we can get to rob the flooger magpies from taking this one off us. Man if I was coach I would play McGinnity and instruct him to smash Dane Swan and co and to hell with the suspension.

Bing it on CollingFloggers.

kerr can accept a reprimand
Daniel Kerr, West Coast, has been charged with a Level two striking offence (125 points, one match) against Chad Wingard, Port Adelaide, during the second quarter of the round 21 match between West Coast and Port Adelaide, played at AAMI Stadium on Sunday August 19, 2012.

In summary, he can accept a reprimand with an early plea.

Based on the video evidence available and a medical report from the Port Adelaide Football Club, the incident was assessed as reckless conduct (two points), low impact (one point) and high contact (two points). This is a total of five activation points, resulting in a classification of a Level two offence, drawing 125 demerit points and a one-match sanction. He has no existing good or bad record. An early plea reduces the sanction by 25 per cent to a reprimand and 93.75 points towards his future record.
