Real shame Williams is out, was starting to really show some promise.

Boyd for Redpath is a no loss even if Tom plays a shocker. GL to him in his 50th.

Biggs out seems a tad rough, I’d rather him in the side than Webb.

Richards is promising, but he wasn't that good last week with 4 clangers and 4 frees against from only 13 disposals.

Naughton coughs up 2-3 goals per week with dodgy kicking. Would otherwise have been a top 3 pick in the draft.

Frees against are included in clangers.

Naughton had 15 disposals at 80% efficiency - 7th highest from the side on the weekend. 2 clangers including 1 free against. Against Essendon he had 15 going at 86% - 4th highest Bulldog. Not sure where the alleged 2 or 3 goals are coming from.

No idea who wins this game.

The squad we're putting out on the park is soooooo far removed from any that we may have dreamt up in the pre-season it's not funny.

Freo doesn't look that crash-hot either...

Looks like we have the Mattdougie quadrella on the bench.

Correction. Swap Honeychurch for Daniel on the interchange and we have the MD quadrella.

Is there a bulldogs venue pre game to meet up?

If not, are there any pubs near to the ground that are halfway decent?

Looking forward to seeing the stadium. So glad never to go back to Subiaco.

No organised event for pre game.
There is a function on the Friday night at the Inglewood Hotel.

Sorry dude he played well and is courageous
However 2 major clangers resulted in direct goals - 1 free kick caught with ball - just lack of experience
Other coughed it up directly to a swan player - reckon both in the second quarter - didn’t deter him though

Similarly - Richards and Gowers had 2 also
Richards just inexperience not to have rush a ball under extreme pressure and the other one he got caught by Heeney - he was blind sided. - went into his shell after that
Gowers just careless decision making and shaky execution on the half back line.

All 6 of these are rooky mistakes
Well certainly with Naughton and Richards - the kind of thing they won’t do with more experience.

Gowers not so sure

Happy enough with the changes.

Webb wouldn't have played if it wasn't for Williams you'd think.

Honey continues on what can only be called an Ayce like run.

Interesting where webb plays. Reckon his best spot is HBF but not sure on his defense.

Like the look of the side. I thought Biggs was really out of form, so not surprised he is out. Very happy about Lipinsky and of course TBOYD. Go big fella, do the right thing for all us!!!

Be surprised if Webb plays HBF. Beaten for pace and one on one multiple times at HBF v Brisbane last year. Looked very ordinary. Bevo admitted post game he was out of position cos we were a couple down. HF or nothing for mine. Unless he's improved in both of those areas (he did have sprint coaching last off-season). Surely his opportunity to show something against an average side.

Starting 18 looks good this week. Bench not so much.

Williams might benefit from a week off. Particularly if it's a wet ground on a long trip. Freshen up.

Does that make our average age the same as Fremantle?

No not quite, but it's a good question.

Freo is stacked with inexperienced players like us. They too have 5 who have yet to play 10 games and they only total 14 between them! (ours total 18)

Freo vs WB:
Games Played: 1743 - 1256
Avg Games: 79.2 - 57.1
Median: 46.0 - 45.5

Avg age: 24.4 - 23.3
Median age: 23.9 - 22.3

In terms of games played they are pretty much on a par with us for their 13 least experienced players but their top nine are way more experienced than ours. Take out Sandilands and Mundy and it would be a good deal closer (more like us, having Morris and Picken out).
