Viney is a hard player to tag, but he's the one you'd go for IMO.

i don't think its a good idea tagging players that base that game almost entirely on contested football, because it's hard to stop a player getting first hands on the footy. Redden/Shuey head to head with Viney and Yeo h2d with Oliver and i'd be happy with that.

They are a pretty good running team but if you put some pressure on then you have them.

Didnt want a soft kill like Hawthorn in the prelim, especially coming off a break. IMO, having Melbourne bring their strong contested game over here will prepare us well for the grand final if we get the job done. Full faith that the boys will do so.

Agreed, much prefer to play Melbourne rather than Hawthorn because of game style similarities with our likely GF opponent. I'm confident we'll win.

With reasonable ball use and some pressure Hawks had them for doing periods. However, unlike us, the Hawks rely on 3-4 and have an ageing list at the top end. They had a poor defence and kicked poorly. Their slow ball use allowed the tankers to easily set up defence.

The Hawks were not physical but a little pressure went a long way even the bravest of the brave was gawn under minor pressure. Mostly they tried pathetically to coralle them _ we must not Willie, and coy will not - we must hunt.

They also think the have us after they won against a team man down and with no key forward. We also played poorly but did hit the from late. Lest fly under the radar as they drink their own bath water

Down side is that we have 4 of our top 10 out. (I count EMac). This will bring it back to a 30 point win.
