I know the afl paid out early and the new deals were definitely promised but there’s little information that they actually followed through

I’m pretty sure that was the reasoning they had of buying the stadium early, so they could manage returns and give the clubs better contracts.

As I said, you would hope that was the case, but I wouldn’t put anything past this administration.

If they were serious the clubs all should receive the same contract financials regardless of crowd size to play out of Marvel given the AFL own the venue and force us to play there.

I do think those ares have a big advantage because there is two stadiums with 20k plus capacity and the requisite mod cons.
