I mentioned it earlier, but Carlton are noticeably slow on the inside. I’m not surprised to see Greenwood out, even with LDU and Jy back our midfield is too slow with cunners, Greenwood and Phillips. Expect Bull to get big midfield minutes with Jy and LDU and us try and torch them from possession post stoppage.

Phillips likely more on the flanks to get his ball use heading inside fifty.

Hopefully we just go back to giving sheezel the ball at all costs. I still don’t know wtf happened in the first half of last week, but the mix was not right when Howe is taking kick ins.
Tucker the defender makes most sense as a replacement for Goater. Scott and Sheezel is sacrificing a lot of lockdown power down back.

Should of pick Massimo instead of Dawson
Our msd picks have been pitiful
Wouldn't have made any sense from a list build perspective. We'd drafted 3 HBFs in that same draft and still had Hall playing at a reasonably high standard, meanwhile we had three KPDs on the entire list

I wonder if they’ll use Scott or Tucker off half back.
tucker and shiels and Powell on the wings

So seems like bailey is redundant and now taking a temporary spot at hbf which will not end well with his kicking

But Logue and McKay back next week should mean he survives just til then when we finally go taller in defence

Will have Sheezel and Bergman hbf

Can you please stop with every post saying Scott is going to be dropped. You are wrong every week.

Goater out is not that surprising imo. I thought he was pretty bad last week. A game or two in the VFL won't be bad for him either.

Greenwood is a little bit of a surprising, but I like that Phillips stayed in and Tuck was included. I think they just give us a bit more of a dynamic mix than Greenwood. With Cunners back to his best, I'm really not sure there's a spot for Hugh in the team unless its as a ruck lol

and good luck Bonars. you're going to need it but i have faith that you'll rise to the occasion (hehe)

Bonar will be responsible for at least 6 goals
Hopefully you are right. If he can intercept, create turnovers, find exits and get the ball quickly into the North forward line anything is possible.

I love being optimistic. It's even better when it comes off as we hope!

Archer emergency. The club release said as much.
Greenwood to sub and maybe used as a tactical sub to help ruck around the ground in the 2nd half? Carlton named both TDK and Pittonet.

Howe and Goater both picked in the VFL team FWIW.
