I’d go with Dawson, I thought he looked good last year.

Really hard to identify the changes at this point.

I think the certainty is the Simpkin in and tucker plays a full game.

We subbed Greenwood out, so maybe he misses.

Assuming Logue is out then we’d have to bring in Bonar. If LDU is back I’d have him in for howe.

Feels like a massive game for us until you take the perspective that we are playing the long game. If Griff is out then our backline just feels to unsettled given Carlton’s forward strength.

The ardent fan in me wants a sell out crowd, great game & Saturday morning headlines declaring: Roos make Blues their Easter Bunnies.

The realist with the long view in mind wants to see us holding our structure, getting as much of the game on our terms as possible & at least one of our emerging players to have a break-out game (hopefully Chom).

Jy has to get the entire midfield group breathing fire if we are to be in any way competitive. I want 100 mauling tackles. I want Chom and Turner creating mayhem for their good HB extractors. We need to be on on field but more than that, AC needs to be able to make changes during a term. He was way too slow in shifting his system on the weekend.

It's pretty much going to be 6 of the top 8 in a row come the end of the season.

If LDU comes back in, we will need the midfield to be absolutely clamping down. I expect every single player to be applying pressure. Has to be a minimum.

We had the opportunity to have Mason on one and A.Black on the other, two 6’4 fast, skillful players who would’ve been instructed to hold thier position and not get sucked into the contests, would’ve been a nightmare matchup.

Don't rate Dawson, seems like an honest battler but with no Logue than surely he is the closest we have to a like for like replacement. Any word on if LDU is a definite starter? And when does our version of McKay come back in?
