There's our selection integrity in action. It's purely a rubbish excuse to drop kids or keep them out of the side when it suits.
So I would like to know what Newchurch needs to do to get a call up to a bottom 3 side? Is it 6, 7, 8 goals. I hope he knows. Alternatively is he kicking too many goals and they want less goals more pressure? Obviously there's different standards for different players.
Just wait for Roo to come out and abuse fans or tell them to support another club again.

This will be the same as a few weeks ago for Newchurch. SANFL form was good enough to be selected, they didn't, he had a quiet game and it's back to "he has some things he needs to work on".
All 3 outs were injury forced, it's not like there's any evidence that they assessed Ned's form as droppable. I think the issue is less the player and more the system though. Murph will fail spectacularly on the weekend as well.

Well now we know why he's been slightly off the past few weeks, he's been carrying a niggle.
For anyone Crowing about losing Ned, watch us get absolutely destroyed by Melbourne tomorrow due to next to zero pressure being applied outside of the contest. Ned gets a lot of hate on these boards, but he chews up free space, doesn't give opposition players time think and make pressure-free passes. We played without Ned against Carlton earlier this year, if anyone would like a reminder of just how deplorable our pressure is without him.
Seriously? Murphy has reached his limit. Play a kid ffs.

Selections overall pretty sensible this week.
I am not going in to the game saying Murphy will fail. He has a bit about him.

This selection is not going to be the difference. If it was then we are in even more dire straits than suspected.
What do we know, that Murphy will likely be goal less or maybe snag one.

It's like the club has a spud-to-rookie ratio that can never be veered away from. For every 3 kids you need to play 1 complete spud, or something. Parnell, Soligo and Rachele in means Murphy must play.
We are getting pantsed by Melbourne no matter what team we play. We should at least put players out there who are in form or with a view to a longer term vision.
Not one senior player interviewed over the past few weeks has had anything positive to say about a young player. It's clear the senior players have not bought in to the rebuild.
