our footy hasn't been pretty ok for good portions of games for most of the year. Eagles still not firing on all cylinders and can stink it up. They can't miss bottom 2, unlikely to finish bottom even if they lose, Simpson has some pride, there's no way they deliberately lose to us.
Best thing for us is to not win another game but we know how the club rolls. I think the AFL has to do something about bottom club draft picks as it's affecting the ladder position of the top 8 depending on who they play twice. They would be better off deciding on draft order at the bye or using a lottery system. It's funny watching teams trying to lose gracefully this time of year.

IN:
Worrell

OUT:
Doedee (injured)

Rachele not named even an emergency so presume still injured. Thilthorpe named to play
Let's hope Worrell is given a good run of games instead of just in for one and then out again.

There is absolutely nothing to lose in playing him for the rest of the year.

6 of 9 games he had 20+ disposals and 1 other game 19 this year (not counting the media in game where he had 1). Still uses the ball well
For comparison Soligo 3 times in 10 games and Jones yet to get 20 touches in a game this year

I think Sholl has been harshly treated in comparison to several other younger players

More than just this year, his entire AFL career.

Far out nice win. You should be putting up your tips

GROTTO is the expert.

I did collect 10k from Rachele in round 1 though.

I am letting some of last week's profit ride into this week,

Carlton line (13-)
Walker AGS
Soligo 15+
Berry 20+
Cerra 20+
Saad 20+

$11.25 (Sportsbet)

Surely the club has got wind of Sholl going to Carlton. I mean this board has got wind of it. I'd nearly bet my life on him not being here next year.
If he is here, and we have refused to play him, that's ultra bizzare.
I'm not expecting that tho, I'm expecting him to go to Carlton, us to get a pick mid 20's to mid 30's and everyone to be happy we weren't playing him ahead of someone who's staying.

Apparently Sholl toured the Carlton facilities in the bye. Hearing there's a 2nd Vic club that's interested as well.

Doedee pushed through a "substantial" amount of pain over the last 6-8 weeks according to Nicks.

Didn't consider resting him until now
Explains his lacklustre form of late. I think it's incredbily dumb for a rebuilding side that has no chance at making finals to put an injured player out there. Maybe you'd expect this sort of thing in a contending club pushing to win a GF but it makes no sense for us.

Blows my mind we let him push through for 2 MONTHS

What a messed up club. We couldn't possibly play Worrell or Frampton? You just wonder who is making most of these dumb decisions at the club. They specialise in dumb.
