It’s all opinion I guess

But yeah he’s not the guy we should be worrying about , one of our only players that walks into any team

Does he? Does he get a run in the Melbourne midfield? Bulldogs? He's a B player. Gets plenty of it, terrible disposal, no hurt factor.

I wasnt targeting him particularly, my post was about the sum total of the three, but the idea that he's some unimpeachable elite is nonsense.

Probably 20-25

He’s not a problem for us , either is Keays . It’s a lack of talent outside them . Our recruiters haven’t had good talent ID for mids

Our best mid is a rookie pick AA defender
I think Laird might go top 25 in a midfield draft where you're looking for immediate impact for that season.

In a midfield draft overall there's no way he goes that high. There would be heaps of elite talent younger players taken ahead of him

Terrible disposal ? You reckon most of the opposition analysts , media analysts would say that he’s got ‘terrible’ disposal ?

You think let him get the ball and zone off so he can shank it is what they think ?

An AA defender off half back which is a position that relies on good ball use with ‘terrible’ disposal is a bit of a LOL analysis to be fair

His disposal sucks. You only need eyes to see.

He was an all australian defender five ****ing years ago- he sucked there for about two whole seasons once the other teams started pressuring him- because his disposal is suspect under pressure. You seem to forget why he got moved into the midfield.

If the goal of the game was to kick the ball super high he'd be awesome.

His disposal sucks haha ok

You win

Is that why Fogarty can’t get a kick ?

Yeah he does. He probably plays more half back but he definitely rotates through the midfields in both the Dees and Bullies… though granted, 5 points down with a minute to go he doesn’t step into the centre square for either.

His kick is average , lacks penetration . Is neat enough over shorter distance

Josh Dunkley is a ‘terrible’ kick , Laird is a better kick than Taylor Adams and no one calls his kick ‘ terrible’ or ‘sucks ‘

Imagine getting all agitated, and the highest you're prepared to put it is 'average'.
