When they've been favourites the last few times they've choked. Frozen up and played crap. It's like a finals preview for them

A few outs means they'll be able to convince themselves that they're underdogs and free up

JHF may get a fair bit more midfield responsibility this week - so could be a break out game for him. If not, I think we will comfortably

Oh I agree, but I think that’s the issue, they seen him as a tall defender and unless we drop Borlase for him and don’t bring back Butts, I don’t believe they will pick him.

If they had played him more around the ground so far, he would be a perfect player coming off the bench and fit in a number of different rotations.

Wouldn’t hate Murphy coming in since no Pedlar, port is a good matchup for him. Ports small/medium defenders are shithouse at defending they’re the worst ground ball team in d50 in the comp so we can stretch them there.

I was there, I didn’t see it that much. He was deep in defence a lot on their key forward.

Plus if we are making a change to our half backs and Smith is fit, you know Nicks will choose Smith

Given his versatility, there is no excuse for not being able to find a spot for him in our AFL side.

Yes. Butts was full back and Tahana seemed to take the second key forward. Curtin was on a guy a foot shorter than him at times.
