No, he's correct, Optus stadium wings are mostly north/south.

The stadium is not exactly aligned with the compass, it's about 30 degrees off, technically the wings are NNW and SSE.

Actually the pitch/stadium is exactly 11 degrees from being perfectly east west.
Anyone that wants to fight me on this - bring it on!

I was just guesstimating, but OK sure 11 degrees , not 30. Point stands that the wings are north and south lol.

So with the injury list out, I reckon we bring Acres straight back while O'Driscoll goes to Peel, so...

Out: Hughes, Banfield, Colyer
In: Chapman, Acres, Pearce

That would have us just one short of absolute best 22 (Switta). Could this be the year that the planets align for Freo? A fit list is what most premiership teams have in common...
Agree. Switta in and Walters out and we’ve a good team without passengers. Could go all the way.

I don't agree Sonny is a passenger. His deft touches, taps, passes, tackles and blocks help defend and aid the flow.

A fair bit of what he does is quick and subtle, easy to miss unless you're looking for it.

But there was a series of earthquakes stemming from the Arthur River region in Jan 2022 that has rendered the Ascon drawings / digital engineering model out of date.
Still monitoring the structure post construction and can confirm you are incorrect.

You guys are looking very strong for this one. Our only shot is fast play through the corridor and almost perfect goal kicking accuracy. Any sideways business and it’s all over. Oh and Lobb and Walters always look like Brownlow medallists against us.

Hoping for a high scoring affair, these sub 50 points matches (or sub 20 in our case) aren’t the most exciting to watch.
that 2019 game between us that was decided by a point was quite the match

Hard no. Sonny's game has changed, pressure small fwd now, and bloody good at it.

Don't get me wrong, Switta back in as soon as available though, just not for Sonny.
