So nothing about Fyfe in the injury report. Is he up for selection this week?
He played half for Peel. So no he won’t be in the injury report. Once the player is playing a game be it WAFL reserves or managed WAFL league they won’t appear in the injury report.

Given Fyfe only played a half and hit the bench a couple of times in that half - I’d say he is at least another week away.

The good news is Cooper hasnt suffered LT injury. He looked devastated at the end of the game with Fyfe consoling him. Couldn’t put weight on his injured ankle. I’d expect he isn’t good for AFL this week but at least he’ll be back soon.

Like the idea from Duffield

Pearce,Chapman, Draper talls in defence.

Cox plays forward /ruck and Jackson to ruck

Erasmus to replace ODriscoll in centre push him to wing

Out:Reidy,
In: Erasmus

Wagner to Sub
Pfft, Wagner won't be sub. One of the more reliable users and workers out of the backline at the moment and we don't want Walker getting more disposals..

Don’t mind this but include
Bolton > Switta
Chapman > Worner
Erasmus > Reidy

Cox can second ruck.

Sub - toss a coin between Banfield and Worner.

If it was me I’d drop Walker as well but perhaps a rocket to lift his game might be enough.

Ryan Pearce Clark
Wagner Draper Chapman
Sharp Johnson NOD
Fredericks Treacy Reid
Bolton Amiss Cox
Jackson Brayshaw Serong
Walker Erasmus JOM Banfield
Sub: Worner

JL confirmed this on 7.

Dont think Cox will like the physical centre square ruck crash & bash , likes the easier intercept marking game (look what Hogan did to him)

I did say this yesterday. Clearly Duffield is on BF and following these threads snatching our ideas. Bastard 😂

Wagner to sub is a terrible idea from Duffield.

I have my doubts that Bolton will play, but I would go with:

Out: Reidy, Worner, Banfield, Switta
In: Voss, Chapman, Erasmus, Bolton

Sub: Aish

There is no way this will happen, but it is what I would do. I'm not sure why Aish has been put in the bin. He's fairly versatile and is simply a better AFL footballer than Worner and Banfield.

I wish I could come on here and say we'll make a decent amount of changes but I don't see it, I see us making 1-2 changes maximum.

It'll likely be:
IN: Bolton, Voss
OUT: Switkowski, Reidy

Reidy wasn't picked as second ruck though. He just stunk it up to the point we had to hide him forward for the rest of

He started each quarter either on the bench or in the forward line. He wasn’t our primary ruck, evidence by the large discrepancy in hitouts.
I thought he started primary ruck then turned to crap so we switched it around with Jackson.
If we legitimately started with Reidy as the forward supporting ruck that is even more bizarre strategy from JL.

I agree but Wagner played way better than Walker so I would play Walker sub or drop him

Bringing in Erasmus is not going to fix any of our midfield problems.
I'd rather Johnson moving to a wing and Erasmus taking Worner''s place. We need Bolton playing some mid desperately but he replaces Switta..Chapman can replace Walker in the 22 with Narkle replacing Banfield. At least Narkle can kick. Cox playing some forward is a good idea. Reidy is a must out. He was woeful. Play Voss. At least he competes.

Walker can be sub. He needs a deadset wake up call in my opinion. So does Johnson who won a decent amount of the ball against Geelong but his defensive running was horrible. I dont know who replaces him though.

Cooper's a test according to our injury report.

Cox can’t ruck. Voss is a better option. Jackson can float around, it’ll help midfield quite a bit .

It is great opportunity to through the magnets around, and see if we can find a small forward.

Switta, Sturt, Walters, Bolton (maybe), Simpson, Young (goes forward when playing) all out.

In: Narkle, Bolton, Voss, Erasmus
Out: Switta, Reidy, Worner, Draper

Trying to balance the side with more forwards, and more size through the middle. One defender had to be dropped, and I think we need more speed.

7 defenders, 8 mids, 7 forwards. Ideally you would like one more pure forward as Narkle, Bolton when fully fit, Reid can all play midfield. Frederick plays on the wing, and we miss the ability to rest Young forward.

D: Ryan Pearce Clarke Wagner, Cox Chapman Walker
M: Sharp NOD Erasmus Jackson Brayshaw Serong JOM Johnson
F: Fredericks Treacy Reid Bolton Amiss Narkle Voss

Sub: Banfield - Can play outside wing or forward.

He started in the forward line.

What’s crazy is Longmuir doesn’t learn. Against West Coast last year he started Jackson in the ruck with Darcy either on the bench or forward from memory, I think on the bench. We got smashed in the midfield that match too. Don’t pull your trump card at the beginning of the match. Over thinker.

JL keeps making selection and structural errors. It’s frustrating because we have a good team.

Lasy year wasn't this board calling the selectors stupid for not playing him.
Because the alternative option they went with was Taberner. That's why people were upset.

Reidy should have played over Taberner, but unless they're playing him as #1 ruck, he shouldn't play. Playing him as #2 was terrible.
