Last year wasn't this board calling the selectors stupid for not playing him.
Yes. They preferred to play Taberner. Did you think that was successful?

They then followed that up with delisting Knobel, which is confirmation that they rate Reidy.

They topped it off this year by not inviting any rucks as train on options.

It's their role to make list and team selection decisions, and they are stuffing up the ruck and 2nd ruck structure in an unforgivable manner. They appear to be devoid of a Plan B and are cobbling something together as they go. Potentially our season is being derailed by this saga.

I would say rather that playing Taberner didn't help us win the game. I doubt that playing Reidy would've done any more to help us win.
That's not their only option, but if it was and they know neither are going to be effective, they could elect to bring in neither Taberner or Reidy and power up the stoppages by adding Brodie. They could vary the game plan to be less stoppage based.

Game 1 2025 and we are experiencing the same problem.

Why do people write things like this?
Just pointing out the facts

People are worried about him rucking for that reason, well it hasn't happened, he has been injured plenty of times as a forward though, maybe we shouldn't play him as a forward in case he gets injured?

Time to unleash him up the field, get him kicking i50

I've not been his biggest fan historically, but at least he's not a defender.

I don't think I have been so nervous/interested about team selection before.

It is really a nightmare.

9 defenders in the 23.
A forward has been injured.
A non functioning ruck, who really needs to be dropped.
and a club who don't like to make more than 2 or 3 at the max changes, when I think 4 are needed to replace Switta with a forward, replace Reidy with Voss and drop two defenders with a mid and a forward.

I don't love Worner on the wing either. It will be facsinating to know which way they go.

Narkle can be decent my only concern is his lack of preseason
Narkle kicked a total of one behind in his three finals matches last year

Fringe players struggle normally, with out a preseason they will drop a level. The best we can hope from Narkle is to be a solid player and hope some small forwards come back soon.
