Looking forward to the noise coming out of the nest (Stocksies’ 6 Things We Learnt not a good start) this week, selection on Thursday and then finalised on Sunday.

haven't been a fan of langdon but atleast he has a red hot go and tackles.
wont happen but sheed needs to be dropped loves the easy ball and avoids contact like the plague.
We are really found out for pace.

You need to have a good lookat his games. He hasnt improved at all. Ho many good games has he played this year? Id say 3 . How many times has he been gifted a game? He is not in the best 22 at this stage and he continually goes straight back in after being out. Less than 10 touches a game with less than 2 tackles a game doesnt cut it. Plus he cant play anywhere else on te ground. With his pace he should Be able to play in different positions. Id love to see him off HAlf back and run off and also learn to defend hard also.

Not sure what games you have been watching.
He has improved considerably from last year.

Having said that, he was coming from a low base.

Bit hard when he constantly gets injured just when he starts putting together some good games.

Balance remains the same if Brander plays mid.

ideally we’d have a decent small in the front half to replace Langdon with but with no Rioli, DV or Jones available it makes it hard.

It becomes a choice between maintaining balance by keeping in a player who is average IMO (Langdon) or giving an opportunity to one of our more talent young guys (Brander).

Langdon was one of the few players for the Eagles that ran hard and tried hard. Put on pressure, regularly run back. Not the worst and definitely deserves to play this week.

We'll beat Freo, they couldn't beat us when we had half our team injured in the first derby this year. They aren't beating us now.

Agree - as limited as he is, Langdon isn't the problem & imo should only be dropped for more talented small fwrd options (Ryan & Rioli (or perhaps JJ when fit))

Bring in Hutchins to upset the opposition mid field system. Find a way to hurt the guys scragging Darling and JK.
