Dont think Beams will get up.

I’m sure he’s - chomping at the bit - to play away against the team he used to captain.
And his family planning on heading to brisbane to see his brother/mum for the weekend. I'm sure his migrane will have subsided by then, he has a few days to recover. If he trains this week, then I say he will play.

Don’t see a point in bringing in Greenwood for this one, Neale is gonna get his 35 touches at the end of the day. We’d probably opt to tag Zorko anyways as he is the one that’s struggled with it in the past.
Keep Hipwood in check and it’ll go a long way to getting the win.

Don't understand the hate for Brown. Fights hard for a smaller body and puts himself in good positions around packs. Did far more than Aish & Treloar tonight.
I agree - why do people just assume he should be pushed out of the team? Can people explain why they are so strong on Sier - I like him too but I feel like the desire for him outmatches his true value at this point in time. Again, I don't think it is good for players to get dropped unless it is a walk up start best player returning. So, if he makes way for Beams then fair enough. Otherwise, leave him in to progress his development. Sier, if he is worthy, can fight his way back in.

Was there much in the Mihocek hit he was reported for, on Libba? Or just a fine if anything? Libba didn't look too fazed, I didn't see a decent replay at the ground though

If he gets suspended for that we may as well become the a league.

Was barely a free kick.

Did you watch the second half of last season?

Sier maybe underdone but we need his size and strength around the ball, you only need to see what De Goey did when he went in the guts.In nearly every match this season we have been out muscled around the ball that did not happen in the last half of last season with Sier in there.

It seems pretty clear to me. The most pressing issue our seniors face ATM is the inability to cash in on Grundy’s ruck dominance. We currently have no grunt on the inside of the midfield.

On one hand we have a fumbly, questionably skilled, 80kg, 5’10 kid that’s really feeling his way and the other we have a very clean, 6’2, 90kg guy that can bulldoze through tacklers to release the ball. One has done it on the big stage and the other is yet to have what I’d define as a “breakout game” both have improvement to come. The issue is one has exactly what the team is screaming out for and the other doesn’t...

All fair points as there are lot's of different perspectives on any given game. Bucks did mention Callum in the post game favourably. So, I guess my perspective is that it can be harsh on a player to be dropped in that scenario. As I said, I like Sier, I don't know if bringing him back will have as big a lift as some others though. Which makes me wonder if we should definitely impact a developing players progress for a probably improvement in output.

I didn’t realise Sier played well in the VFL.

Aish out for Sier as well.
Aside from Maynard our Defence has worked pretty well, intercept marking needs to improve also, but the point is Aish is playing his role well....it’s not all about the stats. Everybody is still finding their best football.

Brown came good in the last quarter when it counted most...id like to see him get another game.

Stephenson didn’t play well at all, yes he kicked some goals late but it was more fortune than anything. I think if Beams is fit then he comes in for Stepho. The last thing we want is for young players to think they have automatic selection.

Maynard out for Appleby.

Mayne doesn’t look like he’ll be back with a 6 day break. I’d give IQ a debut against a young side. Or Goldsack. Don’t think Wills, Wells or Sier are fit just yet.

It's time to get the original bear back in the side .... Ruuuuperrrt!!!

High contact
Careless
Low impact

Dunno what that equates to? Maybe a fine?

My problem with Aish isn’t stats, my problem is he’s a ball butcher who offers us no run and carry.
