I thought all three Pies you mentioned were more mediums than kpfs but I see McStay at 196 cms is taller than I thought. But the sites I looked up listed Mihocek at 192 and McStay as 188. Not super tall so Lobb (207), Khamis (191) and Busslinger (198) should do fine ( height wise, ability and experience could be different)

You and many others on here don't rate Buku like I do, but I just think his versatility is important. It was obvious we need another third tall in the forward half and he has strong hands and is an accurate kick.

I think it is one of Buku or Gardner in and possibly both if Buss does not get his chance this week.

What versatile does he have as a forward? He is lead up mark or nothing still as bad on the ground and not a good enough runner to put on pressure

Only potential he has this week is as the 3rd tall but I don’t personally want him in any of the Collingwood talls as I feel it will end up the same as Fogarty last year

I’m not sure this is a fair assessment of Dolan - an 18yo who was playing his first AFL game and who had an interrupted pre-season. He’s also about 60kg soaking wet and the step up from u18s to the pace of AFL is quite a large one. He will get stronger and more match fit as he matures

All for Croft and Buss to debut. We are lacking height at both ends. They may not be ready. But we need them for structure at the very least. And no better time to give them a taste until we get some experience back.

Croft missed the VFL praccy with a niggle.
I don't he's in the frame unless 100% fit and with a VFL game under his belt.

I really hope Lobb is ok. Tough effort to play out the second half.

Dolan looks like a very good prospect and he tried his guts out, but did feel he looked a bit too small out there, he looks about 12 years old happy to give him another chance but might be better with a more seasoned body like Poulter until he puts a bit of size on.

I would probably swap Arty Jones into the 22 for Dolan who can start as sub, he'll be a nice option to bring on fresh when a bit of the heat has gone out of the game and doesn't have to now debut as sub. Arty gets a chance for a run in the best 22.

Need to bring in two balls to cover for Cleary and JOD and we were already a tad short. Judging by where they appear to be ranked from the pre season, I imagine Gardner and Khamis will come in.

Gallagher may be lucky to keep his spot with the injuries, if the MC was really unhappy with him as I was, Garcia can take his spot with Williams going back as a defender (Arty to play wing).

Baker and Poulter next in if any more injuries picked up.

Why not just promote Lachie Smith. Even at his stage of development at least you know you are going to get a decent contest and does not disrupt the entire team
