I think it'd be difficult to argue that he wasn't up to scratch against Gold Coast or Hawthorn this year. Wasn't great against Geelong, but certainly wasn't our worst. Poo against Essendon, but nor orphan there.

So was it his 26 touches and a goal against Hawthorn or his 3 goals and a couple of assists against Gold Coast which you didn't think were 'AFL standard'? Even his 16 disposals and a goal versus Geelong was hardly a shocker.

So basically he's had one poor game from 51% gametime in a 70 point drubbing this year, and that's apparently enough to write him off forever. If Aaron Young or Sam Gray were held to that standard they'd have been delisted years ago.
