I really like Ford, but I think Harvey is a really smart footballer - just knows where to be to get a goal or two.

I also think that he will be better at AFL level, not in terms of fitness, but in terms of being able to get involved in the play and being dangerous as soon as he is on.

With Ford, I would really like to see them try him as a Sicily-type distributor off the half-back line. He is a beautiful kick and they generally reach their target really quickly.

Really like Ford as a sub, brings something unusual and can make things happen. Has great energy. Is currently behind PC and CZ.

GWS are my shout for 2025 premier.

A Dees outfit with no May, no Kozzie and debuting five blokes for their first ever afl game somehow held their own against them for nearly the whole match.

Meanwhile, we haven’t beaten them since 2019. It’s 2017 since it happened in Melbourne.

We came close last time, but they were missing Trac and Lever, and Oliver was a shell of his usual self.

But now their midfield is firing again and this is the calibre of opponents I want to see us play competitively against.

If our loss is less than two goals I think we’ll be able to chalk it down as a competitive effort against a possible prelim finalist.

If it’s a blow out, then the club deserves all of the heat that comes its way.
