I was leaning this way too, but I'm conscious of how small forwards have basically killed us the last 2 weeks.

Earlier in the year we had an oversupply of them with Ramsey and Sinclair also playing. Now we seem a bit light on, especially with Marley playing a bit more midfield.

I think if Sinclair isn't ready, or Goldsack is still out then we probably need Maynard.

I think Oxley is the one who is iffy. Can't really defend a man. Scharenberg is Also an option but fear the port smells may be a bit fleet footed for him right now.
I think we can say we all can't wait for Scharenberg to get in. I think once he is in he won't go back out , really like what I've seen of him at Vic Park.
I don't mind Oxley, he is well skilled, but I take your point in that he is skeptical to the one on one defending, needs another pre-season to build some more strength in the legs. But I definately think we will see Greenwood this week, just can't say who for. At a guess it will be one of Maynard, Blair or Oxley. Doubt it will be Oxley as I think his one of Bucks' favourites.

Oh wow! Damn that's a good source!

Shame, Ive been really looking forward to him playing.
Rock solid sourcery.

Plot twist: the source is the VFL volunteers, brother's, cousin's, mother's, dog's puppies owner's, butcher.

Can't believe Schultz will line up, pretty sure the MRP had a quick look at the Round 15 draw before deliberating this evening!

MRP Panel "Initially looks dangerous, probably thinking we should go down the line of 2 weeks like we did for Squibbs last week....just pass us over that fixture card first, Thursday night v's Pies hey..... Now I look at it closer, nothing in it, free to play"

I liked the set up up forward Friday night quick and powerfull
very rarely did cloke have more than one opponent on him
kicking straight is why we lost. port are quick, we the team to be able
to match them in this regard. taking white out for any one is silly.
slows us down and makes us less dangerous and more predicable.
thus cloke will get the whole defence on him when no one else is effective.

It really annoys me how Port are going to be pumped up to win this game, it shouldn't take something like what has happened in the unfortunate events to get them sparked up to play good football, im annoyed because it's against us, i agree with what Sam Newman said on the footy show a couple weeks back and that being teams shouldn't need a reason to get sparked up and play good football, they should just do it.

I absolutely mean no disrespect at all if anyone thinks it has came across like that R.I.P Phil Walsh <3

A player from Port saying they are/should be pumped up does not mean that they will be or that it will make them play better. It may do the opposite. It's hard to tell with these things.

Agree - They could try too hard and get Smashed

As I said in the post game thread, I cannot recall us having so many one on ones in Hawthorns forward line.

6 dangerous goal kickers. Keeps the defence honest. Just need to be competitive in the midfield and continue with that wicked pressure.

That said, I'm pretty sure Grundy comes in, probably for Moore. Maynard may get another gig, but as the sub.
