out: monfries (he had his leg iced when subbed off and form wasn't great anyway)

in: reimers

i'd make either NLM or Davey sub again.

I like watching a hard-fit side playing so believe there is benefit in Hille, Welsh, H.Slattery, Prismall, Dyson etc all playing VFL before getting a look in at seniors. Whilst we have such a strong available list to pick from there is no need to rush these blokes.

Hille should play if fit. I think Ryder is more than a handful as a pure FF. T-Bell and Hille can dominate the ruck for the rest of the year. Winderlich was sub-par. People calling for Gus' head should take a long, hard look at themselves. He did more than Winderlich in terms of on-field impact in a shorter space of time. Take out that third quarter and you would all be calling for his head. Gus kicked 2 goals in the first half and then got subbed off after Winderlich's first. He would've kicked more. Swap the sub role and Gus would've kicked 3 or 4.

There are some seriously dumb people already posting in this thread.

Prime example. Here's another one just so you don't have to strain that brain cell of yours.

Wonder if we can drop watson, play hurley back and have welsh and reimers in the side?

Barring injury and suspension then no change.

Don't know what part of that is seriously dumb. Game time for all three rucks isn't out of the question. I brought it up here because it's already on the cards. Coach has confirmed that.

As for dropping Hardingham and playing Ryder back, why not? For all the slagging off you don't have much to offer, do you.

If Hille comes in someone's out. I've offered a solution that fits what Hird has described as a possibility. Both Ryder and Hurley are experienced backmen and both are better than Hardingham. T-Bell doesn't deserve to be dropped and he played a stronger game than Hardingham.
Your rubbish retort by comparison stands to put Hardingham in the same mold as Watson. That is seriously dumb.

You may not agree with the comments people post mate, but you certainly won't find me slagging someone off because they have an opinion. Have some class.

Next time quote me with my name so post doesn't get buried.
Thanks again.

Reimers was impressive on Saturday for bendigo and would fit in nicely, possibly as sub, welsh was good also and would be nice to have hille if fit........but don't think anyone deserves to be dropped after last night.....tough call!!!

Seems like everyone is trying their hardest to find one or two people each week to rag on.

Why the Winderlich hate? I think he's played pretty well to considering the role he's been asked to play. He's been playing out of position in the forward line, instead of using his flashy pace. I think his attitude is very selfless, he doesn't seem phased by it. Rather he's given it a real crack. Remember last season when we had no forward options so Knights just plonked Lonergan in the forward line? He was useless and it looked embarrassing for our team. And Look what he's done this year since he's been played on the ball - particularly this week. I'm sure Winderlich would be contributing more up on the wing, but I think he understands the forward structure more than some of our other runners. I think Melksham has taken over Winders role up the ground. And he's fine with that. Who remembers Winders game against Melbourne last year? He's got so much potential. I don't think he's getting dropped any time soon. I'd be dropping Melksham first and moving Winders up the ground.

Changes this week? I'd go no change. Unless Hille is absolutely 100% fit. Then there is going to be a hard call made. Melksham? Davey? The odd man out NLM? I had no issue with Monfries up until he got subbed. However he is being outplayed by Crameri. Tough call.

Ryder and Hurley are two of our best forwards I dont see the need to shove one of them back against a piss poor carlton forward line. Hardingham plays small and tall so suggesting to drop him is pretty silly.
TBell can still play fulltime ruck and Hille will rest forward if he even comes in (rather him rest this week and have him for the season that one game here or there) to stretch carltons backline, which aint flash at all.

As for your opinion and me slagging it off well keep making comments that aren't thoughtout and you can expect much of the same.

No change this week and the blues will get demolished.

Hard this week, i'd be fine with no change but it is less than 6 days when you consider the late start match to a 2pm start this week. Winderlich is an important player with his pace being able to lead back into the space but Reimers could also do this well. There doesnt need to be changes for the sake of it, if Reimers misses out it's tuff but he'll get his chance at some stage.

We have 2 options for hille, play him ahainst carlton to give us a better chance of winning but risking his fitness for anzac day.

Or we rest him against carlton and still have a good shot at beating or save him for anzac day which would give us the opportunity to have a real crack at collingwood.

Chance of beating carlton or giving ourselves a chance of being in the contest against collingwood?

Bring back Welsh to do one of the few things he does well.... own Judd.
Its got me stuffed who you could drop for him though

Gee i hope we dont play 3 rucks, just dont see it working. I love T-bell and his game on the weekend but unfortunately for him he is the third string ruckman behind Hille and Paddy.. Even if his in good form, its just the way it is imo.

off topic - can someone tell me if ill be able to rock up to the MCG and stand in line and buy general admission tickets? Or do i have to buy some reserve seats online?
Cheers.

With long range forecast predicting rain, doubt all three will play.

Dont think we need to change anyone unless there is injuries. Geez - we won by 10 goals, and Winders kicked 3...
Welsh would need another run at Bendigo you'd think given hes missed a lot of footy, if Hille has a niggle no point risking him this early in the season, and whilst Reimers has been OK for a couple of weeks at Bendigo I cant see who we could replace....
No change for mine.
