But then Scott sent him down back because they felt Hurley was getting on top of spud. Taz is a forward leave him there let him learn to play there, full stop. (After injury and working his way back into the team if given a chance)

Tef, milky couldnt have swung down back to play on hurley so I cant see him being an option to be honest.(based on players available for yesterday¨s game) Pederson was a player I nominated to play earlier during the week. There´s no one here who could honestly say we didnt need him (yeah in hindsight) yesterday. Pedersen and Lachy are our swing men now, now that Petrie plays FF. Tazza is a genuine forward. Milky and Mckinley unfortunately for them are gradually going backwards in the pecking order, Black is getting stronger/better each week now and he may be given a game during this season. Who knows?, you tell me .

So we're going to be looking at our 3rd straight year of "apprenticeships"? I can't have that. Milkys marking and kicking looks to have improved, he has been good all pre season and he needs to be rewarded if the opportunity arises.

If we are picking key forwards on the basis of their ability to swing in to the backline to cover for a lack of height overlooked at the selection table, then something very, very wrong is going on.

I want forwards picked on the basis that they can give us something forward. If we need height in defence, then we should be bloody well picking a tall defender.
