A win this week would be huge - puts an 8 point gap between us and the Vultures. It's not the time to be blooding any more youngsters than we have to, particularly in unfavourable conditions when we have perfectly good ruck cover in the team.

We're almost certainly not premiership contenders this year but we are still very much a shot for the top 8 and we MUST have the aim of making finals - regardless of whether we are blooding a whole bunch of kids for a mini-rebuild.

If we lose the next couple in a row - effectively ending our finals race, then sure, prioritise the development of kids.

Somehow I think Jack's days are numbered because if he isn't going to get a game with eight players out he is unlikely to get one anytime soon. Jack is a bit slow but he is good enough to get a game somewhere else so if we don't delist him he should walk. Trengove would have to be favourite for the Magarey Medal at this stage unless of course there is some stupid SANFL rule that says AFL listed players are ineligible. If he were to win the Magarey Medal his trade value might increase.
