I actually asked Tim Golds last week whether Marley is injured or has been given some time off for another reason, he was kind of vague but said Marley is over whatever he had.

I also asked a VFL listed player a couple of days ago and he said as far as he knows Marley is not injured. He seemed surprised I even asked him.

Re Marley, a couple of posters have mentioned elsewhere that he trained, at least for a time, on Tuesday. Can't find the posts, or can't otherwise confirm.

I'm upset! Marley was a standout last year! No mention on the injury list. Some rare sightings at training. Not listed to play in NAB as yet. Didn't play in intra-club. Other players are a little vague about his progress. Something is amiss.

I thought last year Marley was unlucky not to be nominated for the 40 man AA squad, he had a fantastic year!

Marley is a busy man, it's not easy running a drug cartel whilst being a high profile athlete. Cut him some slack man.

He's in full training, as witnessed by another poster on this board this week. How is that MIA?
But he hasn't played the intra club, nor 2 NAB Challenge games ?? Are we resting him ? Keeping him a secret.
Far fishier than any Ben Reid conspiracy to deny the supporters the truth.

No idea, but there are first hand reports of him training, so I'm not sure there's too much reason for concern. It's possible he may have had a niggle and the club have decided to manage him until NAB 3. If he doesn't play next week then there might be some cause for concern.
Request to all supporters from the Club: we ask that supporters refrain from asking questions about Marley Williams. We can confirm that the Club has been planning it's media releases around the assumption that everyone would have forgotten about him. Asking questions as to his whereabouts is upsetting people within the Club and his family. When we don't know where a player Is it is normal for us to leave him off all injury reports, not mention him in press conferences, press releases or in any digital media. We hold concerns that supporters are consciously holding strong memories of him playing in the team previously. We feel it best that supporters and members try to erase those memories. It may also be helpful if you edit him out of your stored replays in line with our current media strategy. We thank you for your co-operation in this matter and ask you to respect Marley's privacy.
