Yeah while playing mid, I wouldn't say he'd be a forward. He kicked a lovely snap tho.He Kicked a Few Goals as well
Yeah, so was I. With Grundy and Witts only playing a half each he must have played more up the ground as the second ruck.Surprised that Cox was on the ground that long yesterday.

We're certainly trying things, Cox said post game 1 that he played no ruck as the club wanted to see how Grundy and Witts played together. Complete guess, but I think game 2 was a mix of a few different circumstances. Cloke and Moore returned without a tall going out, it was obviously pre-planned to minimise the game time of Grundy and Witts (the heat may have played a role here), plus an opportunity to see how Cox went as number 2 against the best ruck in the comp. Are they saying Cox is the 2nd Ruck and then have 1 of Witts or Grundy as the Number 1 Ruck?
I doubt they do that in RD 1

do we have the best midfield now? probably Geelong, but we would be top 5 no doubt?

Geelong aren't even close to the best midfield in the comp, even with the addition of Dangerfield.do we have the best midfield now? probably Geelong, but we would be top 5 no doubt?
Someone on SEN said it best. Everyone has a good starting midfield (Adams, Pendles, Treloar) but our next 6 are better than others Swan, Sidey, De Goey, Greenwood, Crisp, Aish? Elliot? Macaffer?, blair?. Hopefully that helps us massively with the new limited interchange.do we have the best midfield now? probably Geelong, but we would be top 5 no doubt?
He already has most of the attributes, the thing that would take his game to the top 20 in the comp status is if he gets better with his kicking, only thing that lets him down. Can't fault his attack on the ball, ball winning ability, pace is reasonably good.Someone on SEN said it best. Anyone thinking Adams is going to take his game to another level this year. Guy is a beast.

I think they are seriously considering Cox as a forward, a nightmare match up. It would be line ball between Cox, Gault and Smith for the rookie elevation. Glad I don't have to make that call.
Can promote 2 of those 3 players. One as the 40th player and one as a LTI replacement for Scharenberg.
