The most common trade jargon/sayings:
  • "Explore their options"
  • "Facilitate a deal"
  • "Playing hardball"
  • "Paid overs/unders"
  • "An offer has been tabled"
  • "Draft points"
  • "We'll let him walk to the pre-season draft"
  • "He fills a need"
Any others? 🤣

"a lot of water to go under the bridge"
"Mackie's a w***er"

We could trade JDG for pick 7 ,8 Wilkie and Sinclair

That’s nearly fair
Unfortunately saints aren't a player away from finals, they need a massive infusion of talent. If we win it all next year, I would seriously consider offloading JDG to get bring in draft capital to replace the retiring players.

We've got a few levers we can pull.

That’s fair enough if Coll feels like that, but then we are trading 13 to Carlton and you aren’t getting Houston

Craig Cameron said Collingwood aren’t infront for pick 13 but that we are prepared to deal with them. You’re a club, not the club for talks on 13.
And Johnny is under contract and a player GC want so pay up, you don't have the leverage on this occasion so your posts aren't the flex you think they are.

We’re already overpaying for a HB flanker in Rioli, we certainly don’t need to overpay for two. If we don’t get Noble we’ll be fine.

And you absolutely do not get Houston without us so we actually do have leverage here.

If you ignore the fact that it prolongs Hardwick getting the kind of talent he wants, sure.

About time you wandered back to your own board

We’ve got 8 clubs interested in Pick 13, if we don’t use that and give it to the highest bidder then what’s the point.

Noble + F1 for 13, 23 & 29 is the lowest bid of 8 teams, you’ve got to beat Carlton if you want Houston.

If we don’t get Noble and instead can load up on F1’s for our academy picks next year I’m all for it.
You may be all for it but your coach isn’t.
His plans are to have Rioli and Noble rebounding off half back this season.
You need to get on the same page as Dimma.
