Stewart will be a Corey gault clone at Collingwood. The NEAFL is a weak league... Giants.dominated it so kicking 48 there in 20 games is not indicative of much considering the massive supply he would've been getting from GWS midfielders. As Campbell023 said, Finlayson would be a better get if possible.

Get Jack Darling if he is available. Send them Marley Williams if they have interest.

Manager came out yesterday and said no chance he leaves WC, building a house and about to have a kid.

Target should be 3rd round pick if we lose him to help with FS points, don't want to get in a position where we have to offload a 2nd round pick.
unfortunately we could have all the points in the world after our 2nd round pick (subject of course to the rules about only as many live picks as spots on the list available) and it wouldn't stop us having to use our 2nd rounder on Daics or Brown IF the bid comes before our pick. My point, bids will determine whether we have to offload a 2nd round pick, not what else we've got.

If neither Stewart nor Battle are AFL standard then Richmond will DEFINITELY try to recruit them
No offence to your mate! But at the moment Richmond people should be the last to give recruiting advice, however on this he could be right but probably won't know for a year or two.

Typical AFL change the rules the year we have 2 Father sons to recruit.

Apparently the recruiting dept is getting beefed up so I'd be surprised. Good chance he's been told to keep quiet on our business leading up to trade period though.

That what I 1st thought. Does not want to leak on who we are Chasing as he could get fired for doing that

I presume you are not trolling - if so, why don't you give us the specifics, on why we are a divided club, and in what ways we lack direction.
I hope Zunatale's answer is trade talk relevant.

Then why some people on here not playing in the NEAFL and Kicking 100 goals a Season?

We are to involved with Bigfooty that's our passion.

It's not worth much, but I was chatting to a mate of mine who works for Richmond and we started talking about key forwards, he described James Stewart as "not AFL standard" and said that draft prospect Josh Battle was also no good and that he "isn't a key forward".

However I would still love the pies to pick up James Stewart or Sam Reid. We can't go into 2017 with just Darcy and Jesse
Sums up Richmonds recruiting nicely if they think Battle is no good. Slightly small for a key forward, but can run all day, is a good contested mark and a beautiful set shot. I liken him a lot to Roughead tbh (who's only 1cm taller than him fwiw) in that he has the tank to run through the midfield in bursts whilst being an excellent forward target. Would compliment Darcy and Jesse spectacularly imo.

Not only that but he has a wise head on his shoulders, extremely driven individual.

When ability and attitude combine it usually = success.

So that why we Pulled out.

Hope we try and get Minson in the Cloke Trade
Why this sudden erge to get players over 30 .Maric Delsanto Wells Minson we might as well have a crack at Firito and Petrie!
Rapt that Maric resigned at the tigers, for our sake.
Wouldnt it be better if we use a late pick or a rookie pick on a ruckmam in his early to mid 20s? Similar to what Hawthorn did with Fitzpatrick?
I am sure if we look in the VFL Wafl and Safl or delisted Afl players there must be some decent prospects available?
In regards to Cloke if the best offer that the dogs put forward is pick 71 i say either shop him around to other clubs or keep him!
He will be on half his wage next year, and if he wants to leave at the end of 2017 he most likely will be worth more.

Maric was courted more for a coaching role then back up.
