Pickering early at end of season and start of trade said on radio. I cannot remember which one, but I remember listening to it at work and thinking good luck to whoever gets him because he is overated at the time, that Aish would be happy to go back to SA as the lure of family was strong. Weeks later he nominated us.
Saying he would be happy to go to SA and saying he wanted to go back to SA are two very very different things. At that point he'd had meetings with both Carlton and Collingwood during the year already and there were strong rumours that he preferred to go to Vic over SA, so it's stretching the truth a lot to say that he wanted to go home.

Lucky we drafted the king of marcellin instead of Adams last year

People saying Marsh will play WAFL...wouldn't it be exactly the same situation as Cam McCarthy...won't be able to play for 12 months cause he has a contract with us.

So Marsh has gone and the sky is falling in for some, It doesn't really matter what our back six looks like when the mids run two ways and are there to help and the bloody thing doesn't come in with ease every 5 seconds then the problems will stop.

As long as we are stable in all our KPI's with our 22 most weeks we will be fine and so will our back line.

A wise man once said "You want to get rid of the cobwebs? stop brushing them away every week and work out a way to remove the spiders".

GWS dude on trade radio asked about WHE. He said Collingwood as yet have not approached them about him as they have a their fingers deep in another pie at the moment so once they get through that he expects Coll to approach GWS re WHE. Wonder if its a the Rocky thing or maybe the Cloke thing?

It'd be those two, as well as Witts and Frost and what we get for them, before potentially offering the forthcoming picks to GWS.

I doubt we have our fingers "deep" in any Cloke thing since we're gonna get a late pick for him.

Pretty sure that GWS ended up giving Cam permission to train and play in the WAFL.
