What a game. 3 votes go to the men in yellow. Bloody hell they gifted us the game.

Haven't followed the thread so I'm probably repeating other posts, but my thoughts:
- was this the Darren Jolly that was advertised? Based on first 2 weeks he's our 3rd best ruck
- Didak pisses me off sometimes. We often underperform against teams we should beat and he is a major reason. Very lazy at chasing unless it's in to an open goal.
- Beams and Sidey were superb.
- O'Bree just proved how important he is to our clearances.

Wow, a rational and honest Collingwood supporter. That is a rare thing.

Oh and we've been getting r*ped by the umpires for years so all you whinging tossers can suck shit and use this

Beams & Daisy our best, followed by Pendles, Wellers & Sidey.

Jamar & Petterd would have been close to BOG. Davey not far behind.

Poor display but full credit to the Dees, they had a fair dinkum crack and deserved to win.

I can't recall the last time we won a game, that we had no right to win, with the way we played.

Well done lads.

The win would have been awsome but pretty happy we gave you a game today.

All the best.

You gave us more than a game , you should have won it.
Great effort by your kids.

Pendlebury was our best imo, Thomas has definitely stepped up overall, despite some truly shithouse kicking int he final quarter. His defensive pressure is vital now.

In all honesty, we should NOT be allowed Melbourne to dominate the corridor against us. Shit, I've accepted we rarely use it under MM, even though I disagree with it. This doesn't mean we don't have to protect the corridor though!

Cloke needs to be dropped. He'll get eaten alive by St Kilda.

Agree with all of above post.

Again lots of players had a quiet one..can only hope they are as different next week as we were to last week.

Darren Jolly looks a bit lost so far which is very surprising.

Dees were just sensational today, you can only play as well as you're allowed to, to a large degree, but still more fumbly play than you'd like.

Also, our boys did so much running and chasing, won't hurt their fitness program.

Anthony needs to be dropped as well, he was terrible again.

If Dawes doesn't get a run next week i'll be in shock, MM must hate him or something.
While that is true, Anthony is always good for 1/2/3 goals a game, and soem defensive efforts.

Cannot say the same for Cloke, he's very likely to kick zero goals and let his man do whatever he pleases.

How many times do we have to bomb it into the 50 before we realise it is useless? Was beyond ridiculous how many times today we just bombed into the forward line without trying to spot up a player. Destroyed any chance for our marking forwards like Medhurst and Anthony, even though Anthony got hands to the ball quite a bit in pack situations, he dropped a lot of them.

Cloke in particular just spins to his left and unleashes, total stupidity. Maxwell almost lost us the game with his bomb with under 1 minute to go.

Our players just didn't run hard enough, or go hard enough, too many of our players dancing around waiting for a handball without actually trying to get the ball, and not running hard enough defensively. Didak is a huge offender with this.

Best: Pendles, Beams, Sidebottom, Wellingham

wait till Melbourne are back to their craptacular best next week. Always play well against us and just bomb out for the rest of the season.

The bombing the ball in bit sucked. We don't even have a key forward who can be relied on to consistently take them.

Why not just do what we did against the Bulldogs last week; leading deep and using the corridor when going to/inside the 50, it worked well and it complements our small forwards.

couldn't agree with this more, how about we spot up a flipping target. Your point about cloke is spot on, just wheels and bombs, fricken stupid.

Our key forward set up certainly is a huge concern if we are to be a serious contender.

It just appeared we had no clear attacking plan today ( from TV)

Will be very interested to hear from the boys when they get home from the ground to see what they have to say.

How do we get Clokey and Jack ( especially) more involved??
