Bravo guys, I can't imagine any other club going into to trade week with one of the most sought after players and coming out with nothing....

except a full blown investigation into your operations.

Amateur hour at it's best, thanks for at least giving us all something to talk about as you screwed up yet another golden opportunity for the club :thumbsu:

The OP makes a valid point. I really feel for you guys to be honest, it would have been hard going into trade period with the glass just below empty but to end it with the glass itself shattering into your eyeballs, man, that's harsh.

I look at it the same way as I do a Storm fan with their salary cap issues. All you did was try to keep the player(s) you had developed yourself, you didn't go out and pillage the competition, but you still come out bloody. It was stupidity but zero malice.

I hope you guys come out of this without losing too much more.

But we got Angus Graham who is going to push Jacobs out the way and take Lead Ruck next year............

I can only imagine this photo was taken when Jacobs heard the challange for his spot being thrown down by ruckman extraordinaire Angus Graham.

I think Tredders 'setting us back 10 years' bullshit is a load of crap! Maybe true for a weak club like Port or Melbourne but not us!

To twist this optimisticly into a positive...
- We still have a very young and highly talented list who will only improve
- We have great coaching staff inparticular Sando who will help us go further in 2013 and beyoned.
- We have got rid of the cancer that is Tippett and Blucher!
- This might be the blessing in disguise and help us go to the next level by finally being getting rid of those soft **** pencil pushers up at admin that bend over at every opportunity who clearly have no idea how to be ruthless and run a football club properly!

Bring on 2013! CARN THE CROWS!

Good post.. Stupid from a couple of people at the club.. Desperation..
No excuses, but these expansion team ridiculous entry conditions have caused so much shit..
I'd like to also congratulate the AFL on the great job they did with that..

Club culture looks like a piece of shit, and that's the last of the worries. Trigg better move countries. I also blame Craig (always blame Craig) for having no hope in Walker, otherwise we wouldn't have pushed for Tippett.

This draft was the worst possible to miss, I really hope we don't lose anything. If we do, we will still be contending. Will hurt in 3+ years, but I'd like to think our window is open with what we have for the next few years.

Just ridiculous. We are a joke in so many ways. I also fully expect the AFL to come down hard on us to "set an example."

It's just hard to believe that the people running a multi million dollar organisation that's widely regarded as one of the most professional, could be such a bunch of pea brained deadshit pinheads.

Man you's are trippers

I cant believe you can be so pessimistic??!!

Rob Chapman was nothing but confident the other night.

Triggy was very confident again today, WE instigated the AFL investigation into our finances.

Seems like we want it watertight that WEVE done NOTHING.

Here AFL, look at this, nothing to see, good whats the next accusation, ok have a look at this, nothing to see, good, what else, salary cap breach, have a look at our player payment books, nothing to see again?

Right, so we did nothing wrong? Yet we missed the opportunity to trade and get value for tippett and that held up all our other trades, who caused that, sydney and blucher. Now we want compensation and we want those that cost us our opportunities in the draft punished.

I'll never be prouder if this is what eventuates.

I think there's more probability of this than of any of the other outcomes being bandied about.

Reid and Trigg signed off on a under the table agreement?

We overpaid tippett and kept it hidden from the AFL?

Trigg never told chapman?

We left it until it would hurt us the most to bring IT (it which doesnt exist) to light?

The adelaide management was dumb enough to do all that, not just one, all of them together and more?

Get a grip.

The only thing is the misunderstanding around the context and terminology of a maybe possibly agreementy-ish sort of vague thing.

The level of delusion coming from some people is astonishing
Literally every call the club has made during the entire, prolonged Tippett debacle has been wrong. (going back to this damned extension)

Heads must roll
