Where’s the Jagga flight risk mail coming from? If FOS is gone, we wanted to slide and you’re the bloke who texted Gossage his Curtin mail:

WCE OUT: Pick 3
WCE IN: Pick 5 (Draper), Curtin

ADEL OUT: Pick 5, Curtin
ADEL IN: Pick 21, F1 (NM)

NM OUT: Pick 21, F1 (NM)
NM IN: Pick 3

Gives Norf pick 1 and 3 in this draft to take Smillie and Trainor who they will be desperate for.

Gives Crows most likely Pick 1 next year and therefore Dyson Sharp and a pick to use on Phoenix Hargrave this year.

The trade would forever be known as the Curtin Draper trade.
but do they match

This makes no sense for anyone except West Coast.

Why are Adelaide giving up Curtin and a chance to get Draper for a future pick?

Why are North doing that deal. Feels like overs for pick 3 given they haven’t won a game this year. Pick 3+21 isn’t worth F1 likely to be pick 1.
I’ll say it again, I expect North to take Smillie at 1 and offer their F1 to try and get Trainor this year too. Watch the Trainor interview. Top end 194cm defender who is still growing has said he WANTS to go to North Melbourne. This has Lachie Weller to GCS written all over it and the above deal isn’t even close to as one sided as that. And whilst their F1 is likely pick 1, there is no guarantee.

Crows are the ones who are likely to knock it back as they assume the risk and delay their development of a player by a year, but Dyson Sharp is the potential reward there.

What if Crows traded their F1 for Brisbanes first pick- itll get eaten by Ashcroft anyway, and I dont expect it to stay at pick 6, maybe pick 8ish? Doesnt really matter though
Then they use that instead of their own pick 5 in this deal
Crows retain a presence in this draft, pick 5 will get them a nice mid which they really need, and theyve still got Welsh coming through.
Balances out West Coast getting overs in your original a bit

WCE OUT: Pick 3
WCE IN: Pick 8, Curtin

ADEL OUT: F1 (ADEL), Curtin
ADEL IN: Pick 21, F1 (NM)

NM OUT: Pick 21, F1 (NM)
NM IN: Pick 3

BRIS OUT: Pick 8
BRIS IN: F1(ADEL)

Nah we miss out on either FOS or draiper for Curtin and pick 8 ? **** that .

Curtin wants to be a tall mid / flanker .
We need a KPD .
Rather take busslinger and one of FOS or draiper

I like it although referencing the initial post by Get_The_Gaff we would miss out on Draper. Pick 8 becomes pick 10 which puts us out of the elite mid group and into the top KPP and the Gross/Lalor/Hotton midfield talent group. If we could split it again to get Hotton/O’Farrell and Travaglia I’d do it. Brisbane will trade pick 6 but they will also need a lot of points for Ashcroft AND Marshall so they may need to trade down in this draft rather than into next year.

What's that based on?

Presumably he would look at the 2 clubs list and think the we aren't exactly screaming destination club (still got to replace McGovern/Yeo in the next couple of years).

Haven't had success at trading in players when bottomed out (Yeo we got at 13th, but without historically bad results to boot).

I would be very happy to get rid of both witho and rotham .

Backline and midfield should be a priority at trade/draft this year . We already have Bergiel who i think needs to be given afl opportunity

In no particular order we target in trade perryman, busslinger, kaleb Smith all good users of the football .
I like what Witho is bringing this year.

It's common knowledge that Warner and his girlfriend stayed two or three days at Crown
last week. All paid for by Freo.
Pretty sure this got debunked somewhere. Even if he was thinking of moving to Freo I seriously doubt they would need to take the risks involved with doing this mid season for him to visit his home town. He can afford a hotel room.

Pretty sure It happened.

Not sure what the risks are TBH.

I’m sure Harvey will take him under his wing. Coming off an ACL is a concern though, likely to slide into the 20s I think. Have you had a good look at him before his injury?
Yeah, definitely a really good player and I put up before the season started 3 players to watch at Sandy this year. Taj was one of them who I really liked from last year, this year he blew my expectations of him put of the water. I thought he'd be around the top 20 but his form had him top 10. ACL probably puts him back to 17 to 25 range.

Him and Lindsay would be the two I hope we’re looking at in that range if we end up with a pick there. Lindsay probably a bit more polished but Hotton finds more of the ball in dangerous spots. Would love either on the list.

Why would Ch.Warner even consider leaving the Swans?

His club is multiple games clear on top, are clear premiership favourites and has a profile that positions it as the next dynasty in the making.

Plus his brother is at the club as well.

He's 23 and will have plenty of opportunity to chase big contracts later on. Opportunities for premierships however don't come very easy.

Sydney will keep him well-paid by shifting money from L.Parker and T.Adams anyway.

Not sure how it works in AFL, but in the overwhelming majority of workplaces in this country, such an arrangement would contravene corruption and bribery policies and lead to investigation and possible dismissal.

Very doubtful Fremantle paid for anything.

same reason suns are going to give us a ransom for pick 3, despite it being an apparent 'even draft'.... BF in all it's glory.

It happens all the time.

GCS did the same and put Rioli up for a few nights during the bye for his birthday on the Gold Coast.

Crown sponsor Freo.

I'm pretty sure it did happen.
