This is h.edwards not barnett sorry. I'd move rotham on and have ruscoe as 3rd tall utility via rookie draft.

Would let us trade the worst first rounder for Baker and maybe get our 3rd rounder back in return.
Only leaves us a little awkward to get Buss, our F2 hopefully would get it done.

Leaves us with 10, a 3rd rounder, buss and Baker.
Our 1st and Freo F1, our 3rd rounder next year

Freo left with 3, 13, our 2nd rounder and their 2nd rounder to offer for Bolton

Next year Yeo will IMHO only play 14 games. We need talent around Harley.

One Tigers poster suggested we are a better trade partner and offer pick 3 and our F1. Personally there’s no way I’d do that. I reckon pick 3 and BWilliams would be closer and although I can appreciate the argument to trade for him I’d rather take an 18yo mid. Chad will be the perfect aged mid to trade for next year.

In my mind we already have 3 quality mids, Reid Ginbey and Hewett. Add in one of Culley/Hall/whoever as the boring contested mid and we are sorted. The biggest holes on the list are an elite HBF, and a winger.

Id be ok with getting a mid from that next tier down if it means we can get an elite HBF
Getting a HBF would also help us move on from guys like Witho/Rotham

Wouldn't Malakai Champion possibly play a similar role to Bolton , I know Bolton is a star but Champion would be a lot more sensible option.....( cheaper price in draft picks )

Yeah Freo might not suit us then, wasnt crazy at it after typing it out but if we are set on splitting, and GC look elsewhere, then we might have to settle for something like this.

Yeah if FOS is available at our pick dont do the trade, I was just assuming he goes at 2.

Bolton is an absolute proven jet and a multiple premiership player.

He’s a regular goal kicker and an attacking midfield when deployed in that role.

Malakai Champion might get drafted.

Agree and he is still young enough to get hungry again, grow with the group and be a premiership player. If we could somehow get him and Warner the next two years then that should be the plan.

Yep, can’t see another mid overtaking him, just have to hope a Trainor or Faull type absolutely dominate the champs and Norf realise they have one and a half AFL quality KPPs in total. Or the Tigers prioritise a Riewoldt/Lynch replacement but at this rate they may have half of the 1R picks to choose from.

Id go with

H.Edwards, Rotham, Jones, L.Edwards, Gaff to be delisted. If we then add Culley to main list then it leaves 4 spots available. If we wanna take Baker/Busslinger then we going with 2 picks to the draft

We could be in a position to lose Culley or lose Barnett for example. I dont think the decision is as clear cut as people wanna make out

Something will happen with a trade out IMO to free up another spot.

Or someone unluck gets delisted.

We only hold two decent picks as well. Which isnt great.
