Hawks really thought they were the best team in the comp a month ago. I don't see what getting what likely will be around pick 14 and 40 next year does for them at the expense of adding something to their list now. Using 14 now makes more sense then that!
Unless they plan to trade them back in for something this year, but that doesn't make much sense.

I wonder if the Blues F1 and F2 would be enough for pick 9 from Essendon given they dont want that pick due to the Kako bid coming. That is where I would be going next.

My plan:
Get pick 9.
Pick 23 or whatever it is for Baker, or walk to PSD - maybe chuck some later picks in if we want to be nice. If this pisses off Baker and he goes to Freo then not too bothered.

I am less worried about what the club will do with Barass. Baker is the one I am worried we will overspend on, mostly due to Clarke having familiarity and us having committed to him.
