I don’t disagree, but would you really put it past us? If there’s merit to the rumours of Carlton looking to trade up, then what else could they include to make it viable? They don’t exactly have any notable draft capital beyond 12 and 14.

We have taken one under achiever from Richmond lucky for very little. Lets not make that mistake with baker.
Start asking other clubs about Barr(ass), we have the upper hand in any deal.
I would prefer an extra pick this year in the teens for him + extra's.

They are not under achievers, they have been part of and played very important roles for the tigers in a successful era we could only dream about.
Why do we continue to bag players from other clubs and put our own players as all stars and champions.

I thought the AFL had said they want Tassie to be successful from day one. If not explicitly stated it was implied that they wouldn’t be set up like the two northern teams, that is, based on repeated multiple good picks. Established players would be at least a good part of it.

Thus we can’t know how much Tassie will compromise - further compromise - the draft/trade.

Gaff, Darling, and TB out frees up somewhere between 1 and 2 million for us.

Blues and Eagles have agreed on Pick 12 & 14 for 3, 63,68 and a mid range pick that eagles will get in as part of player movement to cover F&S points. Expect announcement Tuesday.
Draft Target is currently Lalor over O’Sullivan but is close and strong debate internally - either way club extremely happy ! Believe 1 of those 2 players will go pick #1.
Lloyd wont be at club at end of 2025. Both parties agree time for change in that role. Timing with wright being managed.
Rob Inness has reviewed Blues fitness program from last year - significant change coming in both weights room and core strength work …….. Players fit but bodies not match hard and some key list indicators well off Swans levels as a collective !
