Richmond's draft hand is just awe-inspiring.
Too bad we don't have a bunch of players wanting to leave us at the same time.

To clarify their best players now are Taranto and Balta with a large amount of their best 22 now either traded out, retired, or will be on the wrong side of 30 next year.
So they need to nail nearly all their picks this year otherwise they're in real trouble.

Yeah wouldn’t gamble with our very limited national draft capital. Pre season draft I would happily dabble

but TB is obviously happy to go there with the contract they've offered. the hawks owe us nothing and are simply trying to get the best deal possible for their club. which is exactly what they should be doing.

Except they've made the offer to Barrass, and forgotten that because he's under contract, his existing club has to be happy with the terms being offered. If not, then the deal can't happen.

Hawthorn shouldn't have chased him so hard if they weren't prepared to pay overs as part of the deal.

To be fair, Richmond's midfield was/is also absolutely terrible. Worse than ours even.

Taranto, when he's on the park is a total butcher, Hopper is even more injury prone and never around. Aaaaaaand that's it.

Yeo, Kelly and Harley aren't great, but is a legit improvement for Baker.
