Why on earth would North be giving up JHF & a future 1st in this trade. Think about it.

Why on earth would North be giving up JHF, a contracted Number 1 Pick, to Port for Pick 2 as the article is reporting?

The more I think about this deal, the more unrealistic it becomes. Who proofread this crap!?

Yeah good point, but both teams are getting pretty bent by Port. I don't understand why they are letting it happen.

On this - especially North... JHF is contracted. Yeah he wants out, but if you've got the most recent #1 pick on your books and his contracted, you want overs for that trade.

AsterixTheGaul's three way makes more sense for North and us but I wonder if Port would accept having no picks until very late. Maybe this is Ken Hinkley's do or die trade window.

I reckon they keep 43 and send Bonner to North.

I think we are all in agreement that it’s unders. We should also be mindful this is just a “possibility” and we have no idea the source of this theoretical trade.

It’s also been reported today on the same site that Bonner could be a key part of the deal and he’s not even mentioned in that trade suggestion

Someone like the Hawks (Sheezle) or GWS (Cadman) would be desperate to jump up the board on draft night and give us a better deal.

And why are we throwing Rioli in for free after reporting we want more than the Amon compo (pick 27)?

I hope there is more to the deal for us than being reported.
